How to access the Backup Manager
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Premium or Budget panel.
2. On the left-hand side, click Backup Manager.
3. Use the tutorials below to restore, create, or schedule backups on your server.
How to restore from an automatic backup
1. Access the Backup Manager on your control panel.
2. Click Restore on the desired backup under Automatic Backups.
3. Select from one of the following options:
Restore all files: Restores all files under your root directory.
Restore selected files: Restores the selected files.
4. Select from one of the following options:
Delete current files on the server: Permanently deletes all files on your current directory.
Create a new backup with current files: Takes the files currently on your server and stores them in the desired Backup Slot.
Merge backups files to the server: Merges the backup files with the current files on your File Manager. (not recommended)
5. Click Restore.
How to download from an automatic backup
1. Access the Backup Manager on your control panel.
2. Click Download on the desired backup under Automatic Backups.
3. Select from one of the following options:
Download all files: Downloads all files in the selected backup.
Download selected files: Downloads the selected files in the selected backup.
4. Click Download.
How to schedule a Configurable Backup
1. Access the Backup Manager on your control panel.
2. Click Schedule under any Backup Slot.
3. Give the backup a name (Ex: "MyBackup", "MyDailyBackup").
4. Select a time when the backup will process.
5. Select how often the backup will occur. (Ex: "3 Days" will create a backup every 3 days.)
6. Select from one of the following options:
Backup all files: backups all files in your File Manager.
Backup selected files: Backups the selected files only.
7. Click Save Schedule.
How to manually save to a Backup Slot
1. Access the Backup Manager on your control panel.
2. On the desired backup slot, click Backup.
3. Give the backup a name (Ex: "MyBackup", "MyDailyBackup").
4. Select from one of the following options:
Backup all files: backups all files in your File Manager.
Backup selected files: Backups the selected files only.
5. Click Backup.
