We’re proud to introduce BisectHosting’s Craft Together Project, in which we recognize the profound impact gaming has had on education and career development over recent years. For college students who can creatively demonstrate how gaming positively influenced their path forward, three $2,000 scholarships are up for grabs. We’re primarily focusing on offering a Minecraft scholarship and how such popular games have enhanced learning, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Why Minecraft specifically? Over the years, what started as a humble sandbox game with cubic graphics turned into a juggernaut within the industry that ultimately impacted education as a whole. There is even an official education edition that introduces game-based learning across the curriculum. Minecraft provides students a creative outlet, and a chance to push their imagination to new heights by learning about problem-solving, critical thinking, and teamwork.
Requirements
- You must be a United States citizen.
- You must be currently enrolled in college.
- You must hold a 3.0 or higher GPA.
- Proof of GPA and college enrollment is required for scholarship eligibility.
