How to change the GameSettingsPreset on a V Rising server

If users wish to customize their settings fully, this can be done through the config files. However, settings can still be tweaked in the preset files, allowing users to create the perfect server experience.

How to Change the GameSettingsPreset on a V Rising Server

1. Log in to the BisectHosting Games panel.

2. Go to the Files tab.


3. Find the following directory: /home/container/VRisingServer_Data/StreamingAssets/GameSettingsPresets .


4. All available setting presets are listed in this folder and can be opened to tweak any desired settings.


How to Assign a GameSettingPreset to the Server
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Games panel.

2. Go to the Startup tab.


3. On the Game Settings Preset panel, enter the desired preset.


Note Below is a list of commonly used presets, additional presets for Sieges and more can be found in the GameSettingsPreset folder.

Game Setting Preset
Description
StandardPvP Standard ruleset provided by the developer for PvP settings. This is the Default Setting when unspecified.
StandardPvP_Easy Enemies are less deadly, and resources are more abundant with standard PvP settings.
StandardPvP_Hard Enemies are much more deadly, and resources are scarce with standard PvP settings.
Level30PvP The standard ruleset for PvP and provides players with level 30 gear sets and progression from the game start.
Level50PvP The standard ruleset for PvP and provides players with level 50 gear sets and progression from the game start.
Level70PvP The standard ruleset for PvP and provides players with level 70 gear sets and progression from the game start.
SoloPvP Uses the standard PvP ruleset balanced for solo play.
DuoPvP Uses the standard PvP ruleset balanced for clans of two players.
HardcorePvP Dubbed 'Brutal Mode,' this preset uses an even more difficult ruleset than StandardPvP_Hard.
StandardPvE Standard ruleset provided by the developers for balanced team progression with friends.
StandardPvE_Easy Standard PvE ruleset, with less deadly enemies and more resources.
StandardPvE_Hard Standard PvE ruleset, with much deadlier enemies and more scarce resources.
Level30PvE The standard ruleset for PvE and provides players with level 30 gear sets and progression from the game start.
Level50PvE The standard ruleset for PvE and provides players with level 50 gear sets and progression from the game start.
Level70PvE The standard ruleset for PvE and provides players with level 70 gear sets and progression from the game start.
