How to disable tree regrowth on Sons of the Forest server

In the Sons of the Forest server, players are introduced to a new gameplay mechanic that involves disabling tree regrowth. By preventing tree regrowth, players must carefully plan their actions, ensuring they make the most of available wood resources and explore alternative methods for survival and construction. Note Tree regrowth is on by default with a 10% chance to randomly regrow when you sleep.

How to Disable Tree Regrowth on a Sons of the Forest Server
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Games panel.

2. Stop the server.

3. Go to the Files tab.

4. Find the following directory: /home/container/serverconfig .

5. Select dedicatedserver.cfg.

6. Enter the following inside the "GameSettings" brackets: "Gameplay.TreeRegrowth": false .

Note Separate multiple codes with a comma.

7. Press Save Content.

8. Start the server.
