How to change the world preset on a Minecraft server

How to Change the World Preset on a Minecraft Server
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Games panel.

2. Stop the server.


3. Go to Config Files > Server Properties from the left sidebar.


4. Navigate to the Level Type section.


5. Edit the text to change the world preset. Available values are listed below.

Level Type
Description
default The standard Minecraft world preset.
For Minecraft version 1.19+, use normal instead.
flat Generates a flat world, also known as 'superflat'.
largebiomes Generates biomes that are more expansive than the default.
For Minecraft version 1.19+, use large_biomes instead.
amplified Generates a world with an increased world generation height limit. Resulting in towering landmasses.


6. To generate a new world, change the Level Name to something new.


7. Start the server.
