How to connect to an Ark server

Note The steps to connect to an Ark server are different for Steam and Epic Launcher. Follow the appropriate steps for the launcher being used.


How to Connect to an Ark Server (Steam)

1.
Log in to the BisectHosting Games panel.

2. Below the Connect to Server button, copy the IP and Port


3. 
From the Steam client, choose View > Servers and go to the Favorites tab. 


4. Choose the Add Server Button in the bottom right. 


5. Enter the server ip address with the port from step 2.


6. Click Add This Address to Favorites


7. Open Ark and choose Join Ark.


8. In the bottom left where it says Session Filter, change this to Favorites


9. Press Refresh and the server should show up in the server selection!


How to Connect to an Ark Server (Epic Launcher)
1. Join a Single-Player game of Ark.


2. Create a character.

3. Click Tab to open the console.

4. Type "open IP:Port". Replace IP and Port with the server's info. 


5. Press Enter
