Summary
Dune: Awakening servers have a few key server settings that can drastically change gameplay for the general 'Hagga Basin' server areas. Players can adjust various options such as disabling sandstorms, building taxes, or even enabling pvp across the entire map. Players can also change the server world, modifying who is in the shared zones between worlds. However, doing so will wipe all progress on the server.
How to Change the Server Settings on a Dune: Awakening Server
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Stop the server.
3. Go to the Startup tab.![]()
4. Change any desired server settings; setting descriptions are listed on the chart below.
| Setting | Description |
| World | Change the Battlegroup the server is on. Battlegroups can have a maximum of 50 servers. Changing worlds wipes all progress. |
| Server Name | Changes the name listed beneath the server world. |
| Server Password | If set, requires a password to join the server. |
| Sand Storm Auto Spawn Enabled | Enables/Disables sandstorms from spawning on the server. |
| Are Security Zones Enabled | When this setting is disabled, the entire 'Hagga Basin' map will become PvP enabled, instead of restricted to specific zones. |
| Taxation Enabled | Enables/Disables the requirement to pay taxes for any built bases. |
