Summary
Vintage Story has an in-game server list displaying available public servers for players to connect. However, many servers on this list are still private and not publicly available for players to join. In addition, servers are posted on the server list by default, making servers without a password vulnerable to interference from strangers. This can be solved by securing the server via other means; however, some users may prefer to remove the listing entirely.
How to Remove a Vintage Story Server from the Public Server List
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Games panel.
2. Go to the Files tab.
3. Choose the data folder.
4. Open the serverconfig.json file.
5. Navigate to the "AdvertiseServer" line.
6. Set the value to false to stop the server from showing on the public server list.
7. Once finished editing, choose Save Content.
