In Smalland, Bark is one of the many important resources players must gather to progress and is used throughout the game. Gathering this material for the first time unlocks different crafting recipes for weapons and important pieces for construction. How to Gather Bark in Smalland

Before gathering Bark in Smalland, you need to make the Flint Axe or a higher-tiered axe. Here are the materials needed to craft a Flint Axe:

• 5x Fiber
• 5x Resin
• 10x Flint
• 5x Refined Wood

Perhaps the most challenging material to gather from that list is Refined Wood. New players can typically find Fiber and Resin from the beginner’s area near the NPCs Herne and The Elder. As for Flint, travel to the southern island to collect this material. But you need a Mandibular Pickaxe or a higher-tiered pickaxe to craft this tool. If you don’t have this item yet, here are the materials you need to craft it:

• 1x Bull Ant Mandible
• 5x Resin
• 5x Wood
• 5x Fiber

Smalland Bark Locations

While players are surrounded by forest in Smalland, one of the best places players can find Bark in Smalland is on the many beaches in the game.
