The Isle Maps

Gateway

The Isle Gateway Map Gateway is the current and only map of the Evrima Branch. It replaced Isla Spiro with Patch 0.12.51.02. It's a reasonably massive map with various points of interest, including wallowing holes, migration zones, nesting grounds, and watering holes. Gateway’s size allows players to find and take advantage of numerous hiding spots. For example, traveling to the Hidden Output at coordinates -396,757.688, -20,889.048, 27,760.469 can help you hide from predators that fail to look under the bridge. However, Gateway’s dimensions may also prove to be the downfall of many players choosing carnivores. Traveling around the massive map without finding food can spell doom because of starvation. Albeit it’s possible to find AI dinos to feast on, reaching these spawn locations can be challenging. Steam user wiredredman compiled a list of coordinates for the different points of interest in Gateway, which are the following:

Carnivore Hunting Grounds
The Isle's Gateway map is home to various dinosaurs and other animals. Aside from hunting enemy dinos, players can search for animals like, boars, bunnies, and chickens, to help prevent hunger and starvation. It's important to mention that some animals typically spawn near a player. Nonetheless, here are some spawn points for specific animals to ensure your dinosaur has a full stomach:

Thenyaw Island

The Isle Thenyaw Island Note: The image above was made by Reddit user u/rurumeto. Added in Patch 0.1.38.5, Thenyaw Island is one of the two maps in the Legacy Branch of The Isle. Some players even hailed it as the game’s best map. One notable reason for this map’s popularity is its size. In particular, Thenyaw Island is smaller than the Gateway or Isle V3 maps. That way, the gameplay is faster, allowing players to find each other sooner than later. This map’s size also lets predators not worry too much about finding prey. Thenyaw Island also has multiple bodies of water, including lakes and rivers. So, thirst will be a minor concern when playing on this map. However, Thenyaw Island is also quite famous for its steep hills and sudden drops. One wrong step can lead a grounded dinosaur to its death. Test Level

The Isle Test Level As its name implies, the Test Level is a map for testing elements like the game's controls and a dinosaur’s capabilities. It’s also one of the most updated maps in The Isle. The Test Level map also supports multiplayer, providing PVP enthusiasts with an excellent map for a quick deathmatch. This map’s design is also unlike the other maps in The Isle. The Test Level looks and feels like a developer’s testing ground, ideal for players who want to experiment with console commands. Instead of trees, bushes, and dirt, this map has elements like AI pads, sound pads, and portals. Nonetheless, food and water stations exist to help dinosaurs curb their hunger and thirst.
