Palworld Farming Guide (2025): Seeds, Plantations, and Best Farm Pals
Posted on by
Survival is a critical element of Palworld, and one way to ensure you survive and thrive is through farming. However, this game’s farming mechanic separates itself from similar titles with distinct steps. Discover the requirements and the procedure of farming in Palworld as you read this guide.
Not to be confused with the Farming work trait for Pals, farming in Palworld is a way players can regularly produce food for themselves and their pals by combining the right seeds and the correct plantation.
At the time of writing, Palworld has four types of seeds: Berry, Lettuce, Tomato, and Wheat seeds. Below is a list of where to find these seeds in the game’s map:
Unlock at Technology Level 5. It requires 3x Berry Seeds, 20x Wood, and 20x Stone to build.
Unlock at Technology Level 38. It requires 3x Lettuce Seeds, 100x Wood, 70x Stone, and 10x Pal Fluids to build.
Unlock at Technology Level 32. It requires 3x Tomato Seeds, 70x Wood, 50x Stone, and 5x Pal Fluids to build.
Unlock at Technology Level 15. It requires 3x Wheat Seeds, 35x Wood, and 35x Stone to build.
Farming in Palworld typically requires the following Pal traits: Planting, Watering, and Gathering. Generally, you’ll find and capture Pals with Level 1 versions of these traits during the game’s early stages. Eventually, additional Pals become available equipped with higher trait levels, enhancing your base’s farming efficiency.
Remember, stock up on Paldium Fragments to prevent running out of Pal Spheres. That way, you can capture the necessary Pals to help automate your base’s farming operation.
Palworld: Palfarm is an upcoming spin-off game of Palworld. Here, players can experience the vibrant world of Palpagos Islands, albeit their tasks lean more towards living the peaceful life rather than building bases and crushing syndicates. Build your dream farm in Palfarm alongside Pals, and use their unique abilities to sow, water, and harvest crops.
Palfarm is more than a game for digital farmers, as it's also a life simulator. Build a community through daily conversations and gifts to deepen bonds with both Pals and human residents. However, some days aren't so peaceful on your Palfarm farm. Sometimes, nasty Pals raid your farmland, requiring you and your trusted companions to defend your livelihood.
With full multiplayer support, Palfarm lets its players choose to share this cozy, unpredictable farming sim to build farms and write stories with friends. Don't forget to watch the announcement trailer below to glimpse what's to come for this game.
