As mentioned in the previous section, some enemies in Smalland drop food for your Vanguard. For instance, killing a Sawyer Beetle will drop a Beetle Heart. You can consume this item to recover 6 nourishment. Moreover, though, you can combine a Beetle Heart with Insect Fat to create the food item Beetle Sausage. Letting your character eat the Beetle Sausage will recover nourishment by 30 and will block nourishment loss for 180 seconds.
