Craftopia Update v20231218.1856: Full Patch Notes, New Biome, Dedicated Servers, & More

After the Seamless World Update, Craftopia players noticed that they couldn’t access certain parts of the map. Attempting to enter these locked regions would teleport them to a previous location and damage their characters’ health. With Craftopia Update Patch v20231218.1856, part of these locked regions are now open, particularly the new desert biome! This patch also adds more content and features to the game, which you can find below.

What’s in Craftopia Patch v20231218.1856?

Craftopia Update Patch v20231218.1856 Craftopia Update Patch v20231218.1856 adds the new biome called "Unnefell Desert." At the time of writing, the new area is only partially opened. So, players won’t be able to access certain locations, including some dungeons and the era level. However, these places will be added in future patches. This update patch also adds a new skill category. Open the skill menu, and players should see the new “Boss Skill” ability class. Here, you can learn powerful skills by defeating certain bosses. Helping players defeat these powerful enemies is the increase in Lv cap, which is now increased to 60 from 50. Then, there’s also the introduction of Craftopia’s dedicated server. However, this feature is still in its testing phase. So, players may encounter some bugs and other issues when selecting this server option. Newly Added Content

  • We have opened the Dedicated Server on a trial basis as preparations for the Dedicated Server, which was temporarily closed due to the transition to a seamless world, have been completed. Due to changes in specifications, problems such as stabilization, optimization, and defects may occur, so we plan to continue making improvements based on reports.
  • Partial release of new biome "Unnefell Desert." New age dungeons, quests from NPCs, caves, SHOP, etc., will be released at a later date. A new field boss is also scheduled to appear.
  • Based on your feedback, we have improved the usability of installing pipelines.
  • Changed the pipeline logic to make it less likely that unintended behavior would occur.
  • Adjusted so that the pipes being installed are automatically guided to the connectable end of each pipe.
  • Until now, you had to press and hold to install, but pressing the left click once starts the connection, and pressing it again confirms the installation. If you right-click while the connection is starting, the connection will be canceled.
  • When installing a relay pipe, the connection state is now maintained. This allows continuous laying.
  • Jumping during installation will no longer cancel the connection state.
Other issues remain, such as installing it in a high place, so we will continue to improve operability and prepare the upper pipeline.
  • A new skill, "Boss Skill," has been added. This is a new skill that can be learned by defeating dungeons and field bosses.

Balance Adjustments

  • The production efficiency when producing “water” using a cooking pot has been significantly increased. Along with this, the water purification power of water purification facilities has improved dramatically.
  • It is now possible to create the item “Sand” by baking stones at high heat using a “Furnace.”
  • Adjusted the speed of the following vehicles.
  • Hoverboard
  • Motorcycle
  • Biplane
  • The suction power of “Absorber” has been increased by five times.
  • Adjusted the dual wield left attack.
  • Reduced the spawn time of enemy spinning saws.

Functional Improvements

  • Added resurrection options upon death. Depending on the location, you can select “last used portal,” “dungeon entrance,” or “cave entrance.”
  • Placed a crystal at the base of the tower. This is a solution to the problem of difficulty understanding tower elevators.
  • Added a new icon to the Great Sword of Resurrection underground in the full map.
  • Changed the motion of the bow.
  • Fixed an issue where the reticle and body would overlap when shooting a bow without right-clicking to change the camera position.
  • We received feedback that fishing floats were difficult to see at night, so we made adjustments to make them a little brighter.
  • Changed the appearance of markets, lively markets, cooking pots, and cauldrons.
  • Changed the tank engine sound.
  • Changed the hoverbike engine sound.
  • Changed the appearance of the pipe entrance and exit.
  • When collecting a wall or pet that has a module such as an ``Item Frame,'' the items in the ``Item Frame'' will also become drop items. Along with this, when a pet with a module dies, the module will disappear.
  • We have changed the way pipeline connections work.


You can now select the entrance of a pipe without right-clicking and holding. It is no longer possible to install a pipe without connecting it to the entrance. With the connection selected, you can extend the pipe beyond the crosshair or select the exit, and you can cancel the connection by right-clicking.
  • Expanded the hit detection for item collection for “Large Capacity Container.”
  • The Dragon Mail, Mechanic Cargo, Elemental Robe, Leather Cuirass, Leather Corset, Wizard Cloak, Smart Casual Attire, Farmer's Overalls, and Fur Coat♂ models are aligned with their normal naked bodies.
  • Added sounds to Noble Frog and Dragon's attacks. We plan to add others in due course

  • Adjusted so that the target of Anubis' Trial, “Sniper's Trial,” faces the pedestal.
  • The time limit for some of Anubis' Trials “Sniper Trials” has been extended.
  • Along with the ability to capture bosses, it is now possible to capture bosses in the dungeon's boss room.
  • Added skill sounds mainly for active skills.
  • Added an effect to a weapon that does not have an effect when just attacking.
  • Adjustments were made in response to feedback that the Magic Shield effect was too bright.
  • Added the following to the description of the skill “Double Jump”: “When strengthened to the maximum, it becomes a triple jump.”
  • Added the ability to specify a button to return to the previous page in the page-switching function of the Hotbar. The default is no button and can be set from the key binding screen.
  • Added key bindings for hotkeys 0 to 9 to the settings screen so that they can also be set on the gamepad.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where the era level of the world was displayed one level lower when selecting the world in the home scene.
  • Fixed an issue where the feather hiding function did not work for character equipment on the inventory screen.
  • Fixed an issue where the vehicle could not accelerate unless the forward and dash buttons were pressed at the same time. Added a boost button display for the vehicle being operated under the HUD.
  • Fixed an issue where item tags would be displayed on the screen when other players are using the recovery rod in multiplayer.
  • Fixed an issue where the boss “Fafnir” would become a [relic] item when captured.
  • Fixed an issue where players could slip through the spiral staircase inside the castle in Brigandine Valley.
  • Fixed an issue where the fishing water surface effect was emitting light.
  • Fixed an issue where the tree and stump states were not synchronized correctly when participating in a multiplayer game.
  • Fixed an issue where biome warp icons would not appear on the map after repairing a tower.
  • Fixed a bug where the top of the “balloon” was not rendered.
  • We have introduced measures to reduce the load due to a large number of dropped items. We regularly enable/disable physics calculations for dropped items that are determined not to have moved significantly. Due to this response, in rare cases, dropped items may not move for a few seconds.
  • The “Rotating Saw” that was placed beyond the limit and became unrecoverable will now return to an item.
  • Fixed an issue where hoverboards would move forward at abnormal speeds after jumping over water.
  • Fixed an issue where guests could collect chests with contents during multiplayer.
  • Fixed an issue where the “Offshore Oil Plant” would sometimes look strange as a guest.

  • Fixed an issue where the string “Test” was displayed for enchantments that had no effect, such as “Hand-washed” or “Reinforced,” so that they now display “No effect.”
  • Fixed an issue where some enchantments would be displayed twice in the enchantment fragment list.
  • On the enchantment table, the item details at the bottom right can now be pressed even if they overlap with “Select enchantment to apply.” The layout, etc., will be improved in the future.
  • Fixed an issue where there were mesh holes in the ears of some faces.
  • Introduced mitigations for an issue where players could get stuck in small gaps.

  • Fixed an issue where the effect coordinates would shift when using the skill “Soul's Cry” in the air.
  • Fixed an issue where floors would overlap when placed using the skill “Multi-deployment.”
