Note that Blood Crystal nodes will only yield loot if you use a weapon with at least Gear Level 23. It’s also important to mention that the area wherein Blood Crystal nodes are located has a dragon swirling above it. The beast frequently rains down flames that persist on the ground for a few seconds before disappearing. Additionally, this area is home to the Level 83 V Blood Carrier, Lord Styx the Night Champion.
