The appropriately-named Seeker joins the ranks of Survivors in Risk of Rain 2 with this DLC, and she enters the scene with her fists flying. Seeker is an enlightened mid-range brawler that can deal devastating damage to nearby monsters. Additionally, she can provide support by unleashing her healing abilities to aid nearby allies. Moving forward, Seeker’s special skill is Meditate, which makes players execute special commands in a timely manner. If successful, Seeker creates a powerful blast with her at the center and wreaks havoc on the health bars of nearby enemies. Additionally, nearby allies receive a quick heal. As for Seeker’s primary skill, it’s called Spirit Punch, and it’s her bread-and-butter ability. With it, she throws three mid-ranged punches that can pierce through grouped monsters. Additionally, Seeker’s secondary skill, which is the Unseen Hand, allows her to unleash a large phantasmal hand at a designated area. Monsters hit by this skill receive damage, knockback, and slow. Also, Seeker drains the health off of the hit enemies to replenish her own. Finally, Seeker's utility skill is called Sojourn. Activating this ability lets Seeker fly, albeit at the cost of her health, after three seconds of being airborne. However, she can damage nearby enemies as she creates a blast after canceling the skill. The final Dev Diary introduces another Survivor for Risk of Rain 2 – the Chef. However, this robot chef won’t be cutting ingredients but will instead sauté the life out of its enemies. For starters, the Chef's primary skill, which is called Dice, allows the robot to hurl its powerful cleavers at enemies near and far. Then, Chef can recall the cleavers, dealing double damage to the poor souls who get caught in the return path of these knives. As for Chef's secondary skill, which is called Sear, it inflicts significant damage to hit enemies. In particular, this Survivor burns monsters to a crisp with a short-ranged heat blast. Additionally, enemies trapped in this skill will generate burn stacks, dealing additional damage over time. Combine Sear with the Chef’s special skill, which is called Glaze, to inflict burn damage to an even greater area. This robot hurls globs of oil, magnifying the burning area to a wider range. Next is Chef’s utility skill – Roll. Players should notice that this robot doesn’t have legs. Instead, this robot has a roller that resembles a rolling pin. Activating this utility skill lets the Chef steamroll monsters caught in its path. Then there’s Chef’s passive skill called Chef’s Kiss. With it, Chef can heal after combining different skills when hitting enemies. For example, activating Glaze and Sear also triggers Chef’s Kiss’ healing effect. Chef also has an alternate special skill called Yes, Chef! Activating it allows the robot to empower its next ability.
