Palworld is finally here, and fans are diving in only to find themselves in a mysterious land with nothing to wear, let alone Pal Spheres spare! So, today, we explore how to get Pal Spheres in Palworld.

Crafting a Workbench

Pal Spheres are a crafted item that is easily obtained. However, a few early game steps are required before they can be made. The first is crafting a Primitive Workbench which requires two Wood. Simply walk about until some sticks on the ground are found or punch trees until Wood falls down. Then, with the Wood in your inventory, open up the build menu (“B” on PC) and place your Primitive Workbench on the ground. Following a short crafting animation, interacting with the newly crafted bench will show all known recipes.

Unlocking the Pal Sphere Crafting Recipe

Palworld includes a technology tree where players can spend points to unlock recipes. After a little gathering and crafting, Technology Points will be gained, which can be put into Pal Spheres. This, in turn, allows them to be crafted at Primitive Workbenches.

Gathering Paldium Fragments

Pal Spheres are made of three Wood, three Stone, and one Paldium Fragment. The first two are easily found by punching trees and rocks, while Paldium Fragments will take slightly more effort. Players can either mine rocks with a Stone Pickaxe for a Paldium Fragment every few swings or mine Paldium Fragments directly from blue rocks along the starting area’s river.

Crafting Pal Spheres

Finally, with all the materials in hand, players can return to the Primitive Workbench from step one and craft Pal Spheres. There will be a short animation, but crafting multiple does not take long. Don’t forget to collect the newly crafted Pal Spheres from the bench before heading out!
