How to Get Chromite in Palworld

Chromite is a new resource with the Feybreak patch, which is also one of the exclusive materials found on the new island. However, Pal trainers can’t find it out in the open. Instead, you must use a Metal Detector, which is a craftable tool using 30x Plasteel, 100x Paldium Fragment, 30x Circuit Board, and 20x Nightstar Sand at the Production Assembly Line II. Another way is to capture and summon Smokie, a Dark Pal with a unique Partner Skill that works like a Metal Detector. Pal trainers looking for Smokies can find these creatures lurking in the northern regions of Feybreak Island. Note that you'll have more opportunities to find Chromite nodes in caves than in open fields. Once captured, travel into one of the four new Alpha Pal locations in Feybreak Island. These locations generally have multiple Chromite nodes up for the taking. With that, you'll find the Feybreak Alpha Pals in the following coordinates:

• -961, -981
• -1128, -1298
• -1047, -1201
• -731, 1028

Alternatively, players can capture or defeat Silvegis, a new Alpha Pal found in Feybreak Island, to farm Chromite in Palworld. Find this boss by traveling south from the Shield Dragon Tunnel fast-travel point. Note that you must enter the tunnel to find Silvegis.

Chromite Usage & Crafting Recipes

The primary usage of Chromite in Palworld is to use it with other materials to craft Hexolite, a new resource introduced in the Feybreak Update.
