How to Get Leather in 7 Days to Die

Survivors can farm Leather in 7 Days to Die through hunting and harvesting. Choosing the former is possible by killing certain animals, such as Bears, Boars, Rabbits, and Stags. Then, harvest Leather from the animal carcasses using a sharp tool, such as an Axe, Machete, Bone Knife, or Hunting Knife. Harvesting this resource from the remains of the zombie animal variants is also possible. Alternatively, players can use a Wrench or another tool to harvest Leather from different structures on the map. These blocks include Office Chairs and Leather Couches. It’s also possible to farm this material by dismantling Sedans and Forges. It might also appear in other containers, including clothes piles.

As of 7 Days to Die Version 1.4, 59 crafting recipes require Leather as an ingredient. Note that the number of craftable items in 7 Days to Die that include Leather as a crafting ingredient may increase in future updates, especially with the eventual release of Version 2.0.
