What's better for the Halloween season than spending your time as a vampire lord and spreading your dominion throughout the land? Getting some free cosmetics along the way! It's that time of year again, when the V Rising Halloween event returns to give players a healthy helping of free cosmetics by making a highly sought DLC pack entirely free for a limited time! Learn about this year's V Rising Halloween event offerings below.

When is the V Rising Halloween Event (2026)?

This year, the V Rising Halloween event will run from October 26 at 6PM CET to November 2. This will give players exactly one week to hop in, grab their free goodies, and decorate for the spooky season. If you miss the event, it will likely return next year, as this event has happened each year since the game's initial launch into Early Access back in 2022, and is always something to look forward to in the spooky season!

What's Included in the V Rising Halloween Event? (Haunted Nights Castle Pack Details)

Unlike other seasonal events for games, there's no in-game challenge or game mode to celebrate Halloween. Instead, the event offers an enormous bundle of cosmetic items. These items are only available at this time of year, and they're completely free for all V Rising players. Fittingly dubbed the Haunted Nights Castle Pack, this cosmetic assortment will give you access to a suite of pumpkin, skeleton, and other Halloween-themed items. None of these are weapons or armor, but a series of furnishings to give your castle a more festive vibe. Thankfully, you can claim this for free whether you're a PC or PS5 V Rising player. All you have to do is head to the Steam or PS5 storefront, scroll until you find the Haunted Nights Castle Pack, claim it, and voila! You now have access to all of the goodies included all the time. Keep in mind, however, that you won't have access to all of the items right away. You'll have to complete some quests in your Journal to add the different pieces to your furniture collection. V Rising and Makeshift Collab: New Plush Coming Soon

There's even more coming to V Rising on October 26! While you gather Haunted Nights cosmetics in-game, keep an eye out for a new collab between V Rising and Makeship for an all-new plush collectible. In the past, V Rising has worked alongside Makeship to create two different plushes: Jade the Vampire Hunter and Tristan the Vampire Hunter. Now, however, it seems that a Beatrice the Tailor plush is on the way. A truly terrifying collaboration that should remind players of their evil vampiric deeds!
