Are you up for some ice fishing in Stardew Valley? If so, join in on the Festival of Ice, one of the game’s four winter festivals (as of Update 1.6). Keep reading to learn when the Festival of Ice lands in Stardew Valley, what you can do while you’re in the event, and the prizes you can win!

When and Where is the Festival of Ice in Stardew Valley

Stardew Valley Festival of Ice Location The Stardew Valley Festival of Ice is an annual one-day event that occurs in Winter 8. Enter Cindersap Forest (directly south of the farm) between 9 AM and 2 PM to take part in the event. You'll know when the Festival of Ice is ready to accept participants when an on-screen message appears. Once the festival ends, the game teleports the player to their farm at 10 PM.

Festival of Ice Fishing Competition

Stardew Valley Festival of Ice The main highlight of the Stardew Valley Festival of Ice is the fishing competition. Here, players must catch at least five fish before the other competitors: Elliott, Willy, and Pam. Other players within the same Stardew Valley server can also participate in the competition. Stardew Valley Fishing Competition Winning the fishing competition for the first time rewards the player with a Magnet, a Sailor’s Cap, a Barbed Hook Tackle, and a Dessert Spinner Tackle. Winning additional fishing competitions rewards Prize Tickets. Exchange the tickets for various items at the Prize Machine in front of Mayor Lewis’s house.

  • Cranberry Sauce: 200 gold coins
