What’s New in the Soulmask 1.0 Update? (Unofficial Patch Notes)
Revamped Game Guide
With Soulmask 1.0, this update reworks the game's early stages with a revamped game guide. A new chieftain stepping onto the pristine shores of the jungle for the first time will now have a path paved with detailed information for your journeys instead of a hunt of blind faith. This new, fully integrated game encyclopedia presents players with information about every material, crafting recipe, and brutal creature. Experienced players, on the other hand, can also appreciate this overhaul, as a single click now pinpoints resources directly on the terrain, significantly streamlining the grind.Mimicry Ascension
Players who are no longer content with merely borrowing strength can channel the powers of a true god with Mimicry Ascension. This evolution to the different player roles grants various survival skills, which are the following:- Abundance: Summons a spectral avatar that rains hell on enemies with volleys of arrows.
- Torch of Eternity: Shields allies while searing enemies with a massive sanctum.
- Shadow Walker: Camouflages and grants the user the ability to teleport.
- Tactical Guidance: Revive fallen companions from the brink of death.
Smarter Tribesmen AI
With Soulmask 1.0, the evolution of a chieftain’s tribe is no longer left to chance. The revamped tribesmen AI transforms workers from simple laborers into a living, breathing workforce. Veteran Soulmask players can appreciate this change as it transforms the meta with the Training Ground. Here, pass down elite talents from one tribesman to another to cultivate that legendary barbarian bloodline. The new Tribesmen Assignments system also diminishes the old meta of idle hands. Doing so lets your clan operate with ruthless efficiency.Tribe Management Update
The new Management Mode transforms seemingly ordinary players into logical masterminds. This upgrade helps beginners find their bearings in the game. As for veterans, this new interface helps create a centralized command center, providing a macro lens on every tribesman’s abilities and potential.New Game Modes
- Survival Mode: The default Classic Mode, providing players with the original Soulmask experience.
- Tribe Mode: A mode that centers on tribe growth, including tribesman management and automation.
- Warrior Mode: Made for the warrior chieftain, this mode is ideal for those who hunger for constant combat.
More New Features & Additions
Apart from what we've already covered, Soulmask 1.0 has plenty more in store for players, including the following:- Dispatching tribesmen to bring back resources for the tribe.
- Custom options, such as modifications to level limits, morale costs, and more.
- A smoother climbing experience.
- Saving a tribesman’s appearance, allowing chieftains to copy and paste looks from one villager to another.
- Tribesmen auto-equipping gear from Weapon Racks to defend the village from invaders.
- Exploration companions mimicking the player’s gathering actions for efficient harvesting.
- A complete building overhaul, which includes free rotation, auto-alignment, and more.
