How to Get Rockets in Rust

In particular, search for Helicopter Crates, Locked Crates, Oil Rig Locked Crates, and Ghost Ship Locked Crates for it if you're going this route. Alternatively, you can also craft the Rocket using 2x Metal Pipe, 150x Gun Powder, and 10x Explosives at a Workbench Level 3. Note that gathering these materials is generally a lengthy process. Nonetheless, the reward justifies the means, as you’ll receive one of the most powerful raiding tools to demolish bases in Rust. You will, however, first need to unlock the Rocket blueprint using 1x Rocket and 60x Scrap at the Research Table. So getting your first is very important to ensuring you can create more! Start farming for the Rocket in Rust by crafting 500x Gun Powder using 1,500x Charcoal and 1,000x Sulfur at an Engineering Workbench or Workbench Level 1. Next, craft 10x Explosives using 500x Gun Powder, 30x Low Grade Fuel, 100x Sulfur, and 100x Metal Fragments at a Workbench Level 3. How to Use the Rocket

The Rocket is the main ammunition of the Rocket Launcher. Those who wish to get this mighty firearm can craft it with 40x High Quality Metal and 4x Metal Pipe at a Workbench Level 2. Alternatively, complete the Gone Killing mission from the Floating Citizen at the Floating City in the Deep Sea region. Do so to receive 1x Rocket Launcher and 6x High Velocity Rocket. It’s also possible to loot a Rocket Launcher from various crates and the bodies of dead scientists throughout the map. Search for crates like locked crates, elite-tier crates, and military crates for a low chance of receiving this weapon. Powerful scientists, such as the Heavy Scientist (with or without the Flamethrower), Cargo Ship Scientist, and Naval Scientist, may also drop a Rocket Launcher. Once found, load it with a Rocket and fire the explosive at unsuspecting Rust players. On the other hand, firing a Rocket at deployed structures deals 350 points of damage to them, making it one of the most destructive ammo types in the game.
