Palworld Grizzbolt Capture Guide: Locations, Breeding Combinations, Stats, Skills, & More
Posted on by
If you've ever seen a promotional image for Palworld, the odds are high that you've seen a large, fuzzy yellow critter with a wicked grin and a minigun. This Pal, known as Grizzbolt, is more than a Palworld poster boy. It's also a beefy Electric Pal with a penchant for ultra-violence. Want to know how to get one of your own? Our capture guide has the details you need on its location, breeding combinations, stats, skills, and more. Take a look below!
If you're looking for a Grizzbolt of your own, you need to head toward the No.1 Wildlife Sanctuary to the south. Located near coordinates 57, -674, to be precise. To reach this island, you'll need a swimming or flying mount Pal. Once you get there, you can only find one Grizzbolt as a Field Alpha Boss at level 30.
However, once you've reached the endgame location of the World Tree, you can find plenty of wandering, wild Grizzbolts on the far eastern side of the area. Of course, these Grizzbolts are at an average level of 62. Combined with them being in an endgame location, this may not be the ideal spot for finding your first Grizzbolt.
If you'd rather not confront a Grizzbolt to make it your own, you can always try your luck with finding Huge Electric Eggs scattered around the Palpagos Islands. These eggs are unique in Palworld, as Grizzbolt is the solitary Pal that can hatch from inside. You find a Huge Electric Egg? Congratulations! You've found a Grizzbolt.
Of course, these eggs aren't as plentiful as other eggs, and finding one can take a while. If you'd rather speed things along, you may want to try using a Breeding Farm to get a Grizzbolt by combining two other Pals. With most Pals, there are plenty of options for breeding to produce a specific Pal. However, Grizzbolt only has two:
Even if you aren't hoping to capture a Grizzbolt of your own, you'll eventually have to fight one during the boss fight with Zoe and her Grizzbolt companion. Luckily, this fight and any other Grizzbolt you encounter aren't too difficult to defeat. The most important thing to do is dodge and attack from a distance.
Yes, this strategy often works in most Palworld fights, but it's especially important with Grizzbolt. Its exclusive skill, Lightning Claw, sees it lunge your way with more than one swiping lunge. However, that's only the beginning. This move transitions from large swipes into a pounce that sends shockwaves reverberating through the ground. You'll have to jump over these or dodge them to stay safe.
Getting close to a Grizzbolt isn't the best idea, as they are faster than they look. Bring plenty of ammunition for your ranged weaponry, and you should be fine picking at its health from a distance. Bringing a Ground Pal can also help, thanks to Electric-element Pals like Grizzbolt being weak to Ground moves. Naturally, it would be unwise to bring any Water Pals to this particular fight.
