When starting a new world in Palworld, previously you'd have to leave everything behind, including the Pals that journeyed with you from the beginning. With Update 0.5.0, also called the Crossplay Update, this patch introduced the Global Palbox, allowing Pal Trainers to transfer certain Pals between worlds! However, choosing which Pal to bring to the new world can be tough. So, keep reading, and let us help you choose the best Pals for the Global Palbox in Palworld.

Best Pals for the Global Palbox in Palworld

Palworld Global Palbox Whether you’re a fresh face, a seasoned veteran, or a returning player lured back by the upcoming 1.0 update, the Global Palbox helps you choose which Pals to bring to different worlds or Palworld servers. Note that there’s no wrong choice. Nonetheless. Some players may want to optimize and speed up the early game and dominate the Palpagos Islands sooner rather than later. With that, here are the best Pals for the Global Palbox in Palworld you may want to consider:

10. Helzephyr

Palworld Helzephyr Exploring the Palpagos Islands on two human legs can be exciting, but time-consuming. Thankfully, Palworld has a reasonably extensive library of mountable flying Pals to help players explore the world from the skies. One notable example is the Helzephyr, a Dark-type flyer with decent offensive capabilities to deal with troublesome Neutral Pals. Despite its advantageous combat prowess, it’s not one of the best Pals for the base. In particular, it only has one Work Suitability (Transporting Lv. 3) and requires a fairly large amount of food to maintain its Sanity. Still, the Helzephyr grants players who recently transferred to a new Palworld server access to a high-tier winged transport near the beginning of a new game.

9. Penking

Palworld Penking Penking is a great workhorse (or work penguin) for the base. Unlike the Helzephyr, the “Pioneer of the Frozen Sea” has Level 2 proficiencies in the following work categories: Watering, Cooling, Mining, Transporting, and Handiwork. Remember, starting fresh in a new world often means you won’t have the luxury of a full workforce. With the Penking, you’ll have five essential Work Suitabilities in a single Global Palbox slot in Palworld. Still, its Level 2 Work Suitabilities mean it’ll eventually be outclassed by more specialized Pals as you progress further.

8. Digtoise

Palworld Digtoise Arguably, Digtoise is one of the best miners in Palworld. Many community members can’t deny this Ground Pal’s reliability in mining Ore and other essential minerals, especially when many crafting recipes require these resources. However, Digtoise’s Partner Skill doesn’t grant the mining bonus when it’s working in a base. Instead, it must be a member of the party. Also, it has no other Work Suitabilities, making it a dedicated specialist rather than a flexible worker.

7. Lyleen

Palworld Lyleen Lyleen is a planting powerhouse for the base. This Grass Pal’s exceptional efficiency at crop production makes it paramount for food manufacturing and processing. This Pal also has Work Suitabilities in Handiwork and Medicine Production, making it a versatile addition to any starter or end-game base. Despite Lyleen’s ability to generate crops and food, it lacks the Gathering ability. That means you must allocate another Pal in the Global Palbox that can gather the supplies and resources Lyleen cultivates. Although this shortcoming exists, this Grass Pal allows you to focus on exploration and combat rather than constantly foraging for sustenance.

6. Orserk

Palworld Orserk Electricity isn’t a dire requirement in the early stages of a new Palworld world save. This philosophy shifts during mid- to late-game, as various structures require sufficient power to function. Orserk and its Generating Electricity Lv. 4 Work Suitability make light work of this necessity, making it the base’s walking Tesla coil. Like some Pals on this list, the Orserk is a niche Pal with a specific purpose for efficient base operations. Apart from its work efficiency, this Electric-type Pal is also a combat powerhouse, making light work of hostile Water Pals. Its Partner Skill, Ferocious Thunder Dragon, also allows players to gather more items from defeated Water Pals, optimizing resource-gathering runs.

5. Anubis

Palworld Anubis Crafting in Palworld takes time, and some craftable items take longer to complete than others. Some players may not want to spend their hours in front of a crafting workstation, as they’d rather be out completing the map. Enter Anubis, a Ground-type Pal who’s arguably the best at handling crafting tasks at the base thanks to its Handiwork Lv. 4 Work Suitability. Additionally, the Anubis has fairly high Attack, Defense, and Health stats, making it proficient at the headquarters and in the field. Players who’re looking for a highly flexible and versatile Pal that can easily deal with wild Electric Pals may want to reserve a Global Palbox slot for an Anubis.

4. Jormuntide Ignis

Palworld Jormuntide Ignis Many players would argue that Jormuntide Ignis is one of the best combat Pals in Palworld, making it a fine addition to the Global Palbox. Not only does it boast high attack power, but its devastating combination of Fire/Dragon typing also makes it born for battle. The Jormuntide Ignis also has access to powerful attacks without using Skill Fruits. Some notable mentions include Dragon Meteor, Fire Ball, and the Electric attack, Tri-Lightning. At the base, this massive Pal works the fire, preparing food and powering furnaces for resources.

3. Frostallion

Palworld Frostallion On land, the Frostallion blazes past many Pals and humans with its near-unmatched speed. Touted as one of the fastest Pals on land, this Ice-type companion is a great fit for the Global Palbox for speedy explorations and traversals. Additionally, its Cooling Lv. 4 Work Suitability allows it to easily tend to coolers and refrigerators, even during the early game. Doing so means your perishables stay fresh from day one in your new world, saving you countless resources and ensuring your base runs as efficiently as possible.

2. Jetragon

Palworld Jetragon Many sought to have at least one Jetragon during their first Palworld playthrough. Once acquired, it's tough to let go of this majestic, legendary Dragon-type Pal. Aside from soaring through the skies of Palpagos Islands at breakneck speeds, having the Jetragon with the help of the Global Palbox lets you reach high-level areas for rare resources early. Despite it not being a suitable fit for the base, riding on a Jetragon’s back is an experience only a true Palworld veteran can’t release from their system. Aside from its outstanding benefits to exploration and movement, take advantage of its combat-ready skills, like Meteorain, Beam Comet, and Dragon Meteor, to properly deal with enemies.

1. Gobfin

Palworld Gobfin Although not a legendary Pal, having at least one Gobfin in the party is an indispensable treat. Its Partner Skill, Angry Shark, buffs the entire team’s Attack even when it’s not out of its Pal Sphere. This must-have addition to the Global Palbox is arguably the laziest yet most effective way to complete difficult early, mid, and even late-game challenges. Some players might even argue that having a Gobfin in the early game gives you the best possible start in a new world. No other Pal can accelerate your personal power curve like this small Water-type Pal. Although Jetragon gives you supreme mobility, and Jormuntide Ignis wins battles, the Gobfin becomes your ultimate force multiplier throughout the game.
