Regular Rice Farming in Farming Simulator 25

Farming Simulator 25 Regular Rice First, let's discuss farming standard rice in Farming Simulator 25. This particular crop has a four-month growth duration and is ideally planted from April to May. This allows farmers to harvest the crop in August or September of the same year. Tip: Deactivate seasonal growth to plant rice and other crops any time of the year. Regular rice also has a maximum yield of 132,000 L per ha. Its average selling price is $3,300, and farmers generally use about 156 L of regular rice seeds per ha.

General Requirements

Unlike regular crop fields, regular and long-grain rice must be grown in rice paddies, special fields made for water retention. You can purchase rice paddies from the build menu, so make sure your farmland has an open field for them. That means you can grow regular and even long-grain rice on any map, not just in Hutan Pantai. Additionally, you must have the following items and farming equipment:
  • Tractor
  • Cultivator
  • Rice planter
  • Rice harvester
  • Fertilizer spread
  • Trailer

Planting and Harvesting Procedure

After purchasing everything, follow these steps to plant and harvest regular rice in Farming Simulator 25:
  • 1. Enter build mode and purchase a rice paddy. Place it on an available lot in your farmland.
  • 2. Use a water pump to fill the rice paddy with about 60% water.
  • 3. Manage and maintain the water level throughout the crop’s growing period.
  • 4. Once ready, use the rice harvester to gather the rice.
  • 5. Place the harvested rice in a trailer and either store or sell it.
  • 6. Apply lime to the rice paddy to improve your harvest for the next yield.

Long Grain Rice Farming in Farming Simulator 25

Farming Simulator 25 Long Grain Rice Farming long-grain rice in Farming Simulator 25 is similar to cultivating regular rice. One main difference is that this longer variant doesn't require water for sowing. Nonetheless, water is still integral to this crop's growing process. It's also ideal to plant long-grain rice in April, allowing you to harvest it in September. Its standard yield is 18,000 L per ha and requires about 500 L of seeds per ha. However, long-grain rice has a smaller average selling price than the regular variant. In particular, you'll typically sell long-grain rice for about $1,589.

General Requirements

The requirements for planting and cultivating long-grain rice are similar to regular rice. These necessities are the following:
  • Rice paddy
  • Tractor
  • Cultivator
  • Seeder
  • Fertilizer
  • Lime
  • Fertilizer spreader
  • Harvester
  • Grain header
  • Trailer

Planting and Harvesting Procedure

After gathering the required items and equipment, follow these steps to plant and harvest long-grain rice:
  • 1. Purchase and place a rice paddy in an open field
  • 2. Fill the seeder with long-grain rice seeds and start sowing the rice paddy
  • 3. Fill the fertilizer spreader with fertilizer and spread the material over the rice paddy
  • 4. Pump water to the rice field using the water pump
  • 5. Check and maintain the water level daily
  • 6. After five months, harvest the long-grain rice with your harvester
  • 7. Unload the harvested crops onto a trailer
  • 8. Store or sell the harvested long-grain rice
