As you venture through the oceans of Nera, you'll want to gather more valuable gear and make yourself stronger. One crucial ingredient for more advanced weaponry is Coralwood. However, you won't find any in the game's opening area, and it can be tricky to get your hands on if you don't know what to do. Luckily, we can tell you exactly how to get Coralwood in Voyagers of Nera in this guide!

How to Get Coralwood in Voyagers of Nera & Locations

Voyagers of Nera coralwood screenshot When you start playing Voyagers of Nera, you'll be in the area known as The Expanse. However, Coralwood can only be found in the game's second area: The Reef. The islands of The Reef emphasize verticality more than those in The Embrace. In fact, Coralwood can only be found high up on large platforms scattered throughout the area. As soon as you enter The Reef for the first time, you can see Coralwood stretching up as orange tree-like growths. Unfortunately, most Coralwood spots can only be reached using a Glider and riding up the geothermal vents scattered around The Reef. That might not sound bad, but Gliders can only be made using Coralwood. Luckily, one specific spot in The Reef doesn't require a glider to access its Coralwood. Just make sure you bring a Sharpstone Axe. Voyagers of Nera coralwood location screenshot The first island you reach in The Reef is Coral Landing. Here, you can find the region's Respawn Shrine that you'll return to if you meet a grisly end. On the northern half of Coral Landing, you will find a large, circular stone archway. Through this archway, there is a lengthy ramp leading to the top of the island. Follow this ramp, and you'll find a small copse of Coralwood for the taking. The tricky part is running past the monsters that line the path. Enemies here are level ten. As a result, they can quickly whittle down your health if you're not wearing the proper armor. Luckily, they're fairly lazy. So long as you have enough stamina to sprint past them, they shouldn't follow you to the Coralwood. Once you're at the trees, harvest away! Coralwood is heavy, but not as heavy as sharpstone. You should be able to collect enough to make plenty of new gear back at your workbench.

Voyagers of Nera Coralwood Crafting Recipes

Want to know what you can make with Coralwood? As mentioned above, it's a stronger material than normal wood and is mainly used for crafting superior weaponry. However, you can also use Coralwood to build furniture or infrastructure in the Building system. All Coralwood recipes require Shaped Coralwood. For this, you'll need a Woodworking Station. You unlock this at Knowledge Tree level nine, and all you need for a single piece of Shaped Coralwood is two pieces of normal Coralwood. We've listed all crafting recipes that require Coralwood down below:
  • Glider: 2x Wind Strand, 5x Rope, 10x Cloth, & 20x Shaped Coralwood
