V Rising: How to Get a Horse
Posted on by
It takes time to become the vampire lord of Vardoran—and lots of it will be spent traveling. Fortunately, you don't always have to walk on your own two feet! You can get a steed and travel in a fast-paced style, and we'll tell you how. Here, we outline everything you need to know about V Rising horses, how to get them, their stats, and more.
You can't get a horse immediately in V Rising, but finding one eventually is worth your time! The early game of V Rising will see you slowly walking around as a vampire before you acquire your Wolf Form ability. Traveling as a wolf is fast, but the quickest way to get around is on a noble steed.
To claim a horse, progress through the game until you're near level 35. Then, you can head toward the region of Dunley Farmlands. In this portion of the world, you can find several farms, some of which have horses. The best place to look, of course, is in stables.
When you find a horse you'd like to take, approach and interact with it. When you do, you should see an option to mount the horse. Congratulations! That horse is now yours! While riding your steed, you can travel at a slower pace or Gallop if you feel the need for speed.

Keeping Your Horse Alive
Unfortunately, it's important to remember that your horse in V Rising can perish. To avoid an untimely demise, you should always watch your horse closely. If you dismount in the open world and forget where you've left your steed, or if your horse is killed, you'll have to find a new one. You can drop it off at your Castle to keep your horse safe and sound when you're not riding it. Now, with the V Rising 1.1 update, you can make a stable for your trusty companion! A stable can keep your horse fed with Plant Fiber, but you can always feed your horse by hand if you need to.Horse Stats Explained
All horses in V Rising come with a randomized set of three stats.- Acceleration: How quickly your horse can reach its maximum speed.
