Vampire claws can only do so much damage to enemies in Vardoran. That's why the well-equipped vampire will most likely win fights over the unprepared one. With that, here's a tier list of the best weapons in V Rising Update 1.1 to help you choose the ideal armament to use as you rule the land.

Best Weapons in V Rising Update 1.1, Ranked

V Rising Update 1-1 Best Weapons Tier List It’s safe to say that the best weapons in V Rising Update 1.1 are those in the Legendary Artifact category. These weapons offer unparalleled combat prowess with their unique effects and stats. Players can acquire Legendary Artifact Shards from Tier 2 Rift Incursions, albeit at reasonably low chances. Alternatively, purchase Epic Ancestral Weapon Shards from the Vampire Merchant for 1,500x Greater Stygian Shards. After acquiring either a Legendary Artifact Shard or Epic Ancestral Weapon Shard, use that item, along with other crafting materials, in the Ancestral Forge. Doing so produces the legendary weapon possessing random attribute rolls. Despite the reliance on RNG, the rolls acquired from using a legendary weapon in V Rising generally provide benefits that outweigh every other weapon in the game before them. Additionally, the following tier list of the best weapons in V Rising Update 1.1 have been considered by looking at various factors, such as their overall usefulness in PvE and PvP combat scenarios. Nonetheless, this ranked list should still serve as a guide to help vampires select the appropriate weapons.

10. The Wraithblades (Daggers)

V Rising The Wraithblades
  • Crafting Recipe: 1x Sanguine Daggers, 1x The Wraithblades Shard, and 4x Onyx Tear
  • Gear Level: 30
  • Physical Power: 33.7
  • Ability Modifications: Rain of Daggers: Inflicts Weaken and deals 3% bonus damage for each stack of Phantasm. Release Daggers: 33% chance to gain one stack of Phantasm for each returning dagger.
  • Best Stat Rolls: Weapon attack speed, weapon skill cooldown recovery rate, and spell cooldown recovery rate
One of the new weapons in V Rising Update 1.1 is the throwing daggers, and they offer a supporting role in different combat scenarios. Switching to these weapons opens vampires to "keep away" strategies, enabling them to deal damage while staying fairly safe against close-ranged enemy attacks. With that, The Wraithblades stand at the top of the list of throwing daggers in V Rising. It offers excellent physical prowess and inflicts Weaken to enemies hit with the Rain of Daggers and Release Daggers weapon abilities. However, like other throwing daggers, players must typically wait for the daggers to have maximum stacks before unleashing them. If not, the damage output will be considerably lower. This shortcoming can also be problematic in chaotic PvP, since finishing fights as fast as possible is essential for survival. Still, rolling stats like improved weapon attack speed, weapon skill cooldown recovery rate, and spell cooldown recovery rate can help mitigate its drawbacks.

9. The Gravecaller (Sword)

V Rising The Gravecaller
  • Crafting Recipe: 1x Sanguine Sword, 1x The Gravecaller Shard, and 4x Onyx Tear
  • Gear Level: 30
  • Physical Power: 33.7
  • Attributes: +25% physical damage to vegetation, +15% physical critical strike chance, +5% weapon skill life leech, and +5% movement speed
  • Durability: 3,800
  • Ability Modifications: Whirlwind: The duration of Whirlwind increases by 1s when killing an enemy, and hits inflict Condemn. Duration can be increased up to 3 times. Shockwave: Each aerial shockwave strike deals 20% bonus damage and reduces the cooldown of Whirlwind by 0.5s.
  • Best Stat Rolls: Movement speed, physical critical strike damage, and spell life leech
While the The Wraithblades are the best throwing daggers in V Rising, The Gravecaller is the top-ranked sword. This legendary blade excels in different combat scenarios, as it boosts the Whirlwind and Shockwave weapon abilities with new effects. Wield this powerful sword, and you can be unstoppable in dealing with V Blood Carriers or enemy vampire clans. Despite its great combat versatility, The Gravecaller can sometimes still struggle with single targets, like bosses. Landing the Shockwave ability can deal massive damage to one opponent, but players would have to wait a few seconds before reusing it. Still, aim to roll good stats on it, particularly the additional physical critical strike damage, to turn your vampire into a boss-killing machine.

8. The Morning Star (Whip)

V Rising The Morning Star
  • Crafting Recipe: 1x Sanguine Whip, 1x The Morning Star Shard, 4x Onyx Tear
  • Gear Level: 30
  • Physical Power: 33.7
  • Attributes: +20% physical critical strike power, +15% physical critical strike chance, and +10% weapon attack speed
  • Durability: 3,800
  • Ability Modifications: Aerial Whip Twirl: Hits cause enemies to burn, dealing damage over time. Entangling Whip: Inflicts a 0.25s stun instead of entangle and causes a fiery explosion at the impact location, dealing 25% damage and igniting the area.
  • Best Stat Rolls: Weapon attack speed, physical critical strike power, and physical critical strike chance
The whip is usually reserved for vampire hunters, but you can also use this weapon type against those who oppose you as of V Rising 1.0. Additionally, take advantage of the legendary whip, The Morning Star, to decimate foes in your wake, vampire hunter or otherwise. Each boosted ability of The Morning Star leaves fiery effects on enemies and the surrounding areas. These Damage-over-Time (DoT) and Area-of-Effect (AoE) abilities can efficiently clear bosses and groups. In PvP, the Entangling Whip’s additional effect can stun and disrupt enemies, disabling enemy movement and enabling hit-and-run tactics. However, the whip, including The Morning Star, requires the user to remain stationary while using it. So, the player must know when to use it, or they’ll become vulnerable to mobs and enemy players.

7. Hand of Winter (Mace)

V Rising Hand of Winter
  • Crafting Recipe: 1x Sanguine Mace, 1x Hand of Winter Shard, and 4x Onyx Tear
  • Gear Level: 30
  • Physical Power: 33.7
  • Attributes: +25% physical damage to minerals, +10% spell cooldown recovery rate, +50 max health, and +3 physical power
  • Durability: 3,800
  • Ability Modifications: Crushing Blow: Deal 125% bonus damage to Frozen targets. Smack: Hits inflict Chill. Hitting a Chilled enemy Freezes it for 2s.
  • Best Stat Rolls: Max health, physical power, and spell cooldown reduction rate
Bash the heads of your opponents to no end with the Hand of Winter legendary mace. Known as one of the best weapons in V Rising Update 1.1, and even before this major patch, this piece of equipment specializes in chilling and freezing enemies. Additionally, its boosted weapon abilities make it an ideal choice for players using Frost Magic. Ideally, the wielder uses the Smack ability to inflict Chill. Aim to freeze opponents, and then delete them from existence with Crushing Blow. This combination of attacks can melt the health off of opponents, including V Blood Carriers. Still, its overreliance on Frost Magic and its related effects limits this weapon’s usage. Also, the reasonably long charge time to use these abilities can provide enemies time to evade the powerful strikes.

6. Mortira’s Lament (Reaper)

  • Crafting Recipe: 1x Sanguine Reaper, 1x Mortira’s Lament Shard, and 4x Onyx Tear
  • Gear Level: 30
  • Physical Power: 33.7
  • Attributes: +25% physical damage to undead, +20% spell critical strike power, +15% spell critical strike chance, and +10% spell cooldown recovery rate
  • Durability: 3,800
  • Ability Modifications: Tendon Swing: Consume up to 3 allied skeletons healing self for 50% of your spell power and increasing your spell and physical power by 10% per skeleton for 8s. Howling Reaper: Hits inflict Condemn and have a 25% chance to summon a skeleton warrior.
  • Best Stat Rolls: Spell critical strike damage, spell critical strike chance, and spell cooldown recovery rate
Become death itself with the Mortira’s Lament legendary reaper. This weapon is known by many for its high burst damage and excellent crowd control capabilities. Additionally, its boosted weapon abilities align well with the Necromancer build. In PvE, Mortira’s Lament can mow down enemy groups, speeding up resource farming and boss fights. If used in PvP, this legendary reaper can overwhelm enemies, especially if the user has recently summoned undead minions. However, Mortira’s Lament shares the same drawback as other reapers – its slow attack speed. Although it's still possible to move while using the weapon, the slow attacks may leave the wielder vulnerable, enabling hits and even death.

5. The Siren’s Wail (Crossbow)

V Rising The Siren's Wail
  • Crafting Recipe: 1x Sanguine Crossbow, 1x The Siren’s Wail Shard, and 4x Onyx Tear
  • Gear Level: 30
  • Physical Power: 33.7
  • Attributes: +15% spell critical strike chance, +10% spell skill cooldown recovery rate, and +4 spell power
  • Durability: 3,800
  • Ability Modifications: Rain of Bolts: Fire 2 additional bolts, and each bolt inflicts Weaken. Snapshot: Consume Weaken to deal 50% bonus damage and inflict a 2s fear.
  • Best Stat Rolls: Spell critical strike power, spell critical strike chance, and spell cooldown recovery rate
Strike fear into the hearts of your foes with The Siren’s Wail. This legendary crossbow joins this list of the best weapons in V Rising Update 1.1, as it brings strategic gameplay into combat rather than unleashing every possible weapon attack and ability at once. In particular, its boosted weapon abilities weaken and cause fear among enemies, decreasing their survivability and control of their characters. In PvP, this deadly combination can disrupt enemy combos, enabling tactical retreats or follow-up strikes. Still, The Siren's Wail's physical damage capabilities are typically mediocre at best, despite it being one of the legendary weapons in V Rising. Nonetheless, players can take advantage of its attributes, along with the right spell-oriented rolls, to enhance their spells to new heights while using this weapon.

4. Oaksong (Longbow)

V Rising Oaksong
  • Crafting Recipe: 1x Sanguine Longbow, 1x Oaksong Shard, and 4x Onyx Tear
  • Gear Level: 30
  • Physical Power: 33.7
  • Attributes: +15% physical critical strike chance, +10% weapon skill cooldown recovery rate, and +5% movement speed
  • Durability: 3,800
  • Ability Modifications: Multishot: Each hit grants Focus. Guided Arrow: The initial hit from a fully focused shot deals 25% bonus damage and inflicts a 0.5s stun.
  • Best Stat Rolls: Movement speed, physical critical strike damage, and weapon skill cooldown recovery rate
If you're a V Rising player who prides themselves on dealing accurate attacks, then the Oaksong can be your weapon of choice. Introduced in V Rising 1.0, this legendary bow gains Focus stacks as more arrows hit enemies. The more Focus stacks you have, the more damage you deal to opponents. Additionally, its boosted Guided Arrow ability stuns hit enemies, allowing the wielder to reposition. However, the Oaksong requires the player to charge it to let loose a powerful arrow. The user is also unable to move as they’re charging the bow. That means it struggles against fast, agile foes in PvE and PvP. Nonetheless, it can be a great secondary weapon, especially when things look dicey in combat.

3. Wings of the Fallen (Slashers)

V Rising Wings of the Fallen
  • Crafting Recipe: 1x Sanguine Slashers, 1x Wings of the Fallen Shard, and 4x Onyx Tear
  • Gear Level: 30
  • Physical Power: 33.7
  • Attributes: +25% physical damage to vegetation, +10% weapon skill cooldown recovery rate, +5% movement speed, and +4 spell power
  • Durability: 3,800
  • Ability Modifications: Elusive Strike: Blood Infused - hits inflict Leech Camouflage: Increases movement speed by 15% and inflicts Vampiric Curse on hit instead of stun. Vampiric Curse deals 150% damage and leeches 30% health after 3s.
  • Best Stat Rolls: Weapon attack speed, movement speed, and physical critical strike damage
Swift and deadly – these are the main elements of the Wings of the Fallen legendary slashers that keep it at the top spots of this list of the best weapons in V Rising Update 1.1. Players who want to get up close and personal with enemies can take advantage of its life leeching effects, improving survivability. As for PvP, use Camouflage to aid in evading strikes, while Vampiric Curse disrupts opponents with the delay in burst damage. Although the Wings of the Fallen is great for surviving combat, it falls behind its sibling, the Cloud Dancers. This lower damage output can make sustained boss and PvP encounters more challenging than anticipated.

2. Apocalypse (Greatsword)

V Rising Apocalypse
  • Crafting Recipe: 1x Sanguine Greatsword, 1x Apocalypse Shard, and 4x Onyx Tear
  • Gear Level: 30
  • Physical Power: 33.7
  • Attributes: +25% physical damage to wood, +15% weapon attack speed, +10% weapon skill cooldown recovery rate, and +5% damage reduction
  • Durability: 3,800
  • Ability Modifications: Great Cleaver: Deals 25% bonus damage to enemies affected by Ignite. Death from Above: Spawns a lesser Aftershock effect when landing, dealing 80% damage in a line and inflicting Ignite.
  • Best Stat Rolls: Attack speed, damage reduction, and weapon skill cooldown recovery rate
The greatsword excels in high burst damage, but is a double-edged sword (no pun intended), as the slow attack speed and lack of defensive options can make wielders vulnerable to getting hit. The Apocalypse acknowledges these issues and improves the user’s offensive and defensive properties. In particular, wielding the Apocalypse inherently boosts the user’s damage reduction and attack speed. Adding additional damage reduction and attack speed bonuses through stat rolls makes this weapon indispensable.

1. The Endbringers (Pistols)

V Rising The Endbringers
  • Crafting Recipe: 1x Sanguine Pistols, The Endbringers Shard, 4x Onyx Tear
  • Gear Level: 30
  • Physical Power: 33.7
  • Attributes: +10% weapon skill cooldown recovery rate, +5% movement speed, and +50 max health
  • Durability: 3,800
  • Ability Modifications: Fan the Hammer: Allows you to move while channeling at 40% movement speed. Hits inflict Ignite. Explosive Bullet: Landing Explosive Shot allows you to recast a second shot. Hitting the same target triggers the explosion instantly, dealing 100% additional damage and inflicting Ignite.
  • Best Stat Rolls: Max health, movement speed, and weapon skill cooldown recovery rate
Arguably, one of the best weapons in the V Rising Update 1.1, and perhaps THE BEST weapon for certain players, is The Endbringers. This dual-wielded pistol decimates foes with single-target proficiency and explosive firepower. It also offers additional survivability by increasing the wielder’s movement speed and maximum health. In PvE, these legendary pistols can work wonders in the right hands. However, agile opponents in PvP can still weave in and out of firing range, making it difficult for the shooter to land a good hit. Nonetheless, a few good and well-placed hits with The Endbringers will usually do the trick in defeating enemies, especially with the Explosive Bullet ability.
