Introduced in patch 1.0.5, players can craft the Gravitation Potion near a Placed Bottle or Alchemy Table using the following ingredients:
Using the Gravitation Potion in Terraria grants the “Gravitation” buff for 3 minutes. Press the Up keyboard key (by default) to invert gravity. The screen appears upside-down when the effect activates, letting the user fall upwards and walk on top of ceilings. Right-click on the buff’s icon to cancel its effect early.
Taking advantage of the effects of the Gravitation Potion can lead to promising results. For starters, use it on the surface layer to find Floating Islands.
