In RuneScape: Dragonwilds, there are plenty of ways to keep yourself busy with creative projects and monster slaying. Naturally, the game also offers a curated smattering of quests for players to complete in the pursuit of loot. Here, we've outlined all RuneScape: Dragonwilds quests currently available. You can see how to start each quest, its rewards, and more below.

RuneScape: Dragonwilds Quests Guide

Most folks who have played an RPG will be familiar with the quest structure of RuneScape: Dragonwilds. You'll start your quest by interacting with an NPC, statue, or item, and you'll have to complete a task or two. The steps you need to complete for each quest will be outlined on the side of your screen as you play, but we've also listed the general steps for each quest below. Within RuneScape: Dragonwilds, there are two different types of quests for you to complete: Primary Quests & Secondary Quests. Naturally, Primary Quests will carry you through the narrative of the game and throughout the various regions of the world. Meanwhile, the Secondary Quests are more optional and simply provide a nice source of XP and specific rewards for completion. Of course, every type of quest will give you a reward of some kind.

Primary Quests (Walkthroughs & Rewards)

First Steps

• How to Begin: Received automatically when starting the game.
• Rewards:

• Steps:
  • Speak to the Wise Old Man in the Temple
  • Speak to Doric outside of the Temple
  • Continue with tutorial Quest "Getting Started"
  • Speak to the Wise Old Man in Bramblemead Village

Getting Started

• How to Begin: Speak with Doric outside of the Temple. This is a tutorial quest, and can be skipped while talking with Doric.
• Rewards:
  • Vegetable Soup
• Steps:
  • Collect some dirty water from nearby ponds and bring it back to Doric.
  • Build a crafting table and craft a stone club. Bring it back to Doric.

Ratcatcher

• How to Begin: Finish the Quest "First Steps"
• Rewards:
  • Stone Logging Axe
  • Stone Dagger
• Steps:
  • Speak to Vannaka near the Windmill
  • Kill four rats and cook two rat roasts from their meat.

Rune Mysteries

• How To Begin: Finish the Quest "Ratcatcher"
• Rewards:
  • Stone Pickaxe
  • 10x Astral Rune
  • 10x Air Rune
  • Tome of Woodcutting
• Steps:
  • Speak to Zanik near the river and down the road from the Temple
  • Bring 50 Ash Logs to Zanik

Dragon Slayer

• How To Begin: Complete the quest "Rune Mysteries"
• Rewards:

• Steps:
  • Construct a base of operations in Bramblemead village by building a shelter and claiming a bed
  • Speak to the Wise Old Man in Bramblemead Village
  • Hunt a deer and bring one of its antlers to the Wise Old Man
  • Siege the goblin castle and look for Cathan
  • Investigate the blue-flame door in the swamp to find out what Cathan is up to
  • Speak with Spitfoot in the lever room inside the Dragonkin Vault
  • Speak to the Wise Old Man in the Bramblemead Village
  • Gear yourself up and head into Ghornfell in search of Cathan
  • Investigate Velgar's Tower in search of Cathan
  • Speak with Cathan's ghost in front of the tower
  • Find the required ingredients detailed by Cathan's ghost and craft the Challenge Horn
    • Bloodwood Sap at the Bloodwood Tree - An Iron Axe will be required
    • A Dragon's Tooth from Dragon's Skull - An Iron Pickaxe will be required
  • Summon and defeat Velgar

Dog Days

• How To Begin: Speak to Vannaka in his small camp under a rock overhang

• Steps:
  • Search Garou camps beneath giant wyrm bones in the Highlands for information on Garou ritual practices
  • Read the lore scrap 'Ritual of Purification' in the Garou camp to the west
  • Challenge a Garou King in their Highland stronghold and claim their token
  • Complete the Ritual of Purification on the King's Token at the ancient shrine where "a heart once beat"
  • Head to Lougrim's Shrine at Wyrm's heart to complete the ritual with three Shocking Plant Bulbs and two Ram Horns
  • Bring the Purified King's Token to Vannaka in the Ghornfell Highlands

Seeking Salvation

• How To Begin: Speak with Doric in his camp in front of Skekven Kara
• Rewards:
  • Salve Crystal
• Steps:
  • Access the vault and find the hidden secret within
  • Activate four Dragonkin Statues around the Skekven Kara area
  • After activating all four statues, head into Skekven Kara and through the high-up passage on the vault wall. Interact with the statue there to access Lacrussa's Writings.
  • Bring the writings to Doric.

Doric's Quest

• How To Begin: Complete the quest "Seeking Salvation"
• Rewards:
  • 8x Dragonwolf Hide
  • 9x Hard Leather
  • 11x Coal
  • 11x Willow Logs
  • 12x Iron Bar

  • Craft an Undead Ranger's Bow and bring it to Doric in Fellhollow

    • The recipe can be found through a Dragonkin Effigy in Vekchenven Kara
  • Craft a Shadow Sword and bring it to Doric in Fellhollow
    • The recipe can be dropped by a slain Zogre

Restless Ghosts

• How To Begin: Interact with the well inside the Ruined Village

• Steps:
  • Search for a purpose for the Amulet of Ghostspeak
  • Find the restless spirits and help lay them to rest. Keep in mind that they only appear at night.

  • After speaking with each spirit, head to the remembrance shrine in the graveyard next to the Temple at the beginning of the game and remember the fallen explorers.

Even More Restless Ghosts

• How To Begin: Speak with Zanik after acquiring the Amulet of Ghostspeak

• Steps:
  • Find ghosts and complete their unfinished business
  • Build a house around the Windswept Ghost
  • Give a Clay Decoration to the Reminiscing Ghost
  • Return the Sketchbook to the Paint-Spattered Ghost
  • Return to Zanik

Goblin Diplomacy

• How To Begin: Pick up the Bandosian Amulet from a chest in the lower level of the ruined castle in the southeast of Bramblemead Valley
• Rewards:

• Steps:
  • Find someone who can identify the Bandosian Amulet
  • Investigate the ruin to the northeast of Zanik
  • Interact with the reliquary in the small room of the ruins behind some barrels
  • Search for the other amulet piece in an area filled with mud and stagnant swampwater
  • Head into the cave in the Whispering Swamp where a Chest is located and defeat a Goblin Shaman
  • Bring both amulets to Zanik

Granite Mauled

• How To Begin: Speak with Doric next to some ruins on top of a plateau in the eastern region of Fractured Plains
• Rewards:
  • Imbued Granite Maul Head
  • Masterwork Recipe: Granite Maul
  • Recipe: Imbued Granite Maul Head
  • Recipe: Imbued Leather Wrappings
  • Recipe: Ornate Maul Handle
• Steps:
  • Investigate the secrets hidden below Ashien's Watch
  • Enter the vault at Ashien's Watch by activating four Dragonkin Statues around the area
  • After activating all the statues, head into the vault, journey to its end, and defeat the bosses inside
  • Finally, interact with a statue inside to receive a blueprint
  • Bring the blueprint back to Doric in Ashien's Watch

Growing Pains

• How To Begin: Level up your Farming skill
• Rewards:
  • 3x Plant Cure
  • Tome of Farming - Volume 2
• Steps:
  • Speak to the Wise Old Man in Bramblemead to learn about the Farming skill
  • Grow and harvest your first crop from a farming plot
  • Return to the Wise Old Man in Bramblemead

Heartstrings

• How To Begin: Interact with the memorial stone under the Anima-Infused Tree at the top of the tallest mountain in the Fractured Planes region
• Rewards:
  • Crystal Bow
  • Masterwork Recipe: Crystal Bow
• Steps:
  • Follow the memorial path, looking for blue trees toward the east of Ghornfell.
  • Interact with the memorial stones at the base of six different Anima-Infused trees

Highlighting the Problem

• How To Begin: Interact with the wizard statue in the Runecrafting Guild courtyard in Bramblemead Valley
• Rewards:
  • Masterwork Recipe: Staff of Light
• Steps:
  • Investigate the area for clues about the statue
  • Investigate the hidden area inside the Dragonkin Vault with the broken bridge. You'll need the spell Windstep to get up to the ledge
  • Find the password 'Pthentorok' hidden within a glowing blue statue, and return to the original wizard statue in the courtyard.
  • Receive a Mysterious Orb from the wizard statue, and interact with three pedestals surrounding the main tower in the guild
  • Return once more to the wizard statue with the now charged Mysterious Orb after interacting with the three pedestals

The Wild Hunt

• How To Begin: Speak with Vannaka in his camp
• Rewards:
  • Access to a Terrorbird Mount
• Steps:
  • Hunt down Nature Spirits near Fellhollow's willow groves
  • Bring three Nature Spirit hearts Vannaka

Things that go Boom in the Night

• How To Begin: Speak with Vannaka after completing the quest "The Wild Hunt"
