Project Zomboid Life and Living TV Guide: Show Schedule, XP Rates, & more
Posted on by
If you're determined to survive the zombie apocalypse, the last thing you'd think to do is sit around and watch TV. However, that can be a huge benefit when you're scraping by in the world of Project Zomboid! If you tune in to the Project Zomboid Life and Living channel, you'll get plenty of valuable XP and go from surviving to thriving. Take a look below to see the TV program's full schedule, how to watch it, and the associated benefits.
There is more than one channel to watch during the end times, but Life and Living is where all the benefits are. To adjust the TV channel, simply right-click on the TV. Watching the Life and Living program will give you XP for specific skills. And your parents always said TV would rot your brain!
Keep in mind, however, that earning XP from watching TV is capped at skill level 3. This change was made in build 42 unstable, and while it won't help you out later in the game, it makes the Life and Living channel immensely valuable when starting a new character. Additionally, the program will only be available for the first nine days of your run. While there may be tons of survival activities you want to get done during your first week and a half in the apocalypse, planting your rear in front of the TV is the best first step you can take.
To get the full benefits, there are a few things to keep in mind: you need to be on the correct channel, have the volume on, be in the same room as the TV, and make sure you're seated when the program airs. Having a wristwatch is practically necessary to ensure you can be on time for the show. Finally, keep in mind that a TV can attract zombies. Its sound only affects a range of 15 tiles, but having a few weapons to keep nosy zombies at bay will prove helpful as well. You don't want to miss your programs!
