After more than two years of Early Access, Palworld 1.0 has finally arrived! With it, there are new Pals to meet, new areas to discover, and new toys to enjoy. One of which can help you see the sights a whole lot quicker: the Wing Pack. This handy backpack is essentially a high-powered jetpack, allowing you to fly through the game without using a Pal. Take a look below, and we'll show you how to craft a Palworld Wing Pack and how it's flown.

How to Get a Palworld Wing Pack

Palworld Wing Pack Crafting screenshot As is often the case when it comes to unlocking new gear in Palworld, it's time to level up your Technology tree. Unfortunately, the Wing Pack is at the highest tier of the Technology tree, level 80. Time to grind! As a reminder, you'll earn six Technology Points every time your character levels up. Spend these points on new unlocks within your Technology tree, and you'll unlock new tiers. Once you do finally get to tech level 80, you will need nine Technology Points to unlock the recipe for your Wing Pack. Additionally, you'll want to unlock the Wing Cell for five Technology Points as well. This is the power source required to keep your Wing Pack flying. Don't worry! You can use the Wing Pack to glide to safety if you run out of fuel midflight. With these two pieces of tech unlocked, here's what you'll need to craft them at a workbench: Wing Pack
  • Paldium Fragment: 30
  • Paloxite Ingot: 6
  • AI Core: 20
  • Thermal Core: 20
  • Ancient Civilization Core: 10
Wing Cell
  • Mythical Wood: 10
  • Crude Oil: 20

How to Fly a Wing Pack

Palworld Flying with Wing Pack screenshot Now that you have your Wing Pack and you're ready for flight, the first thing you need to do is equip your Wing Pack where you would normally place a glider in your inventory. As mentioned above, even if you don't have any Wing Cells, you can use the Wing Pack as a glider. The purpose of the cells is to give yourself an enormous boost of speed. Normally, pointing yourself skyward while gliding with a Wing Pack won't get you anywhere. But use a boost from your Wing Cells, and you'll rocket toward any direction you're facing. Since you don't need to go through the extra steps of deploying a Pal, the Wing Pack is an absolute must for quick flights. Add in the brand new 1.0 biome of Sunreach with its floating sky islands, and the Wing Pack is perfect for island hopping with ease. As for controlling the Wing Pack itself, you can see the controls for using it with a mouse and keyboard or controller below:

Mouse & Keyboard

  • Rise: Hold Spacebar
  • Descend: Hold Ctrl
  • Bank Left: A
  • Bank Right: D
  • Boost: Shift
Controller - Xbox/PlayStation
  • Rise: Hold A/Cross
  • Descend: Hold B/Circle
  • Bank Left: Move Left Stick Left
  • Bank Right: Move Left Stick Right
  • Boost: LT/L2
