Palworld Meteorite Fragment Guide: How to Get, Meteorite Events, Locations, Crafting Recipes, & More
Posted on by
What's that in the sky? A bird? A plane? No, it's just enormous chunks of rocks crashing down from space. If you're fortunate enough to wander upon a Meteorite Event in Palworld, you'll need to get busy collecting Meteorite Fragments so that you can craft some exclusive gear! In this guide, we'll tell you how to find these events and what to do with the precious stones you harvest.
In a Palworld server, the location of Meteorite Events is completely random. They can happen anywhere on the entire map of Palpagos. However, once you know where your Meteorite Events happen in your world, they should happen in those same spots all the time. This will be different if you hop to another server, but typically, Meteorite Events stick to the same handful of locations for a Palworld server.
By default, these events happen in-game every three hours. Of course, you can tweak the frequency of these events in your game's settings. Regardless of how often they happen, you'll be alerted to know when they're taking place due to a flashing message that will appear on your screen. You can also find the exact spot of the event(s) by looking at your map. Of course, sometimes these areas might be in a portion of the world you've yet to discover, and it might have high-level enemies.
When you do head to a Meteorite Event, you can find large Meteorites scattered around the area. Interact with these using a pickaxe, and you can harvest a fair number of Meteorite Fragments. However, these events can also spawn a Selyne, Xenogard, or Xenovader. These Pals can be tough to defeat, and their level varies depending on the location of the Meteorite Event. However, if you defeat them, you'll be rewarded with a nice handful of Meteorite Fragments for your trouble. Of course, the terrifying Xenolord drops Meteorite Fragments when defeated as well.
With Palworld being an open-world crafting survival game, that naturally means Meteorite Fragments are yet another resource you can craft with. Since it is a bit harder to come by, your available rewards are particularly valuable. To make all of the gear listed below (with the exception of Meteorite Ammo), you'll need to craft at a Workbench.
