Not to be confused with scenario events, Public Crisis events in Once Human aren't limited-time offers. However, these instances can disappear and reappear on the map. Completing these mini episodes allows Meta-humans to yield valuable rewards, ranging from Controllers to Energy Links. So, here's what you need to know about these events!

All Public Crisis Events in Once Human

Once Human Public Crisis Events As mentioned above, Once Human Public Crisis Events are ongoing instances. Players within the same server can join in and help complete each event’s main objective. Additionally, the rewards for each Public Crisis event are random. However, expect to receive a good amount of Controllers, Stardust Sources, and Energy Links per completed instance. Note: As of Update 1.4, the teleportation timer resets after taking part in a Public Crisis Event.

Where Does Disco Go

  • Objective: Defeat the Disco Ball boss.
  • Location: Coastal Plaza
Strategy
Upon teleporting to the location of the Public Crisis Event, you should immediately notice the large Disco Ball boss floating in the sky. Note that the only way to damage the boss is by throwing gas cans at it. So, summon the Deviants with the gas cans attached to their backs by dancing on various platforms in the instance’s area. Once here, press the “Dance” button to start dancing and wait for the gauge to fill up. Once filled, defeat the Deviants, but be careful not to damage the gas cans. Then, throw the gas cans onto the Disco Ball boss to damage it. Repeat this entire process as many times as necessary until the boss is defeated.

Operation Chiron

  • Objective: Capture the three pillars and defeat the Cervitaur.
  • Location: Red Sands (3475,-2345)
Strategy
Your mission to complete Operation Chiron is to stop the Vultures and their cultist activities. Interact with the statue in the middle to start this Once Human Public Crisis event. Once initiated, stay in one of the three other pillars to start capturing it. Vultures spawn and try to surround you while staying in this small region, so be sure to make quick work of them. With the bar filled, a Cervitaur Doppelganger appears. Defeat this mini-boss, and then proceed to the next pillar. Repeat this procedure two more times to summon the Cervitaur boss. Then, defeat the Cervitaur to complete the Public Crisis Event.

Paradise Lost

  • Objective: Shut down the cell tower.
  • Location: Chalk Peak (568, -5898)
Strategy
Paradise Lost is one of the multi-stage Public Crisis Events in Once Human. Start by destroying all three nest sacs in the area. Then, collect the ciphers that drop from the ruined sacs. But be wary, as each nest sac has a Disciple guarding it. Defeat all three Disciples to increase this event’s difficulty, along with improving its rewards. With the three ciphers collected, travel to the control terminal at the center and begin this event’s final phase. Stand in the bubble to make the shutdown progress. Don’t forget that enemies will still try to stop you from achieving the objective while you’re in this area. Allow the gauge to fill up completely to finish this Public Crisis Event. Tip: Increasing the number of players in the bubble also speeds up the shutdown process.

The Dark Side

  • Objective: Defeat the Black Lake Monster boss.
  • Location: Broken Delta (4332, -6673)
Strategy
First, destroy the Black Heart while dealing with other rogue deviations in the area. Destroy the nearby spores to create a small area that can recover health and sanity. Reducing the Black Heart’s health to 50% makes it submerge into the earth. Next, three Tangled Vines appear. Defeat these additional enemies to make the Black Heart reappear, allowing you and other participants to pelt it with more bullets. Note that defeating the Tangled Vines increases the Public Crisis event's difficulty, but also improves the rewards. With the Black Heart defeated, the Black Lake Monster appears. It’s also important to mention that this boss is a Glutton, albeit with a different name. Defeat it within the time limit to reap the rewards.

Dig to Hell

  • Objective: Defeat the Scorcher
  • Location: Iron River (5061, -3666)
Strategy
Begin this Public Crisis event by protecting the three miners from attackers. Enemies that are too close to a miner stop that NPC from mining, delaying the progress bar. Four Nest Sacs appear once the mining progress bar reaches 70%. A Glutton then appears, and the progress bar slows while it’s alive. Defeat it, and the event progresses to its final phase. With the Glutton defeated, and the mining progress bar at 100%, drop down to deal with a Scorcher. Defeat this boss within the time limit to complete the event.

Close Encounter Manibus

  • Objective: Defeat Manibus.
  • Location: Random
Strategy
Warning: Avoid this Public Crisis event until you have high-level gear and have prepared sufficiently. If possible, only take on a “Close Encounter Manibus” event once you hit Level 50. For starters, entering the area where Manibus spawns increases the area’s Stardust Pollution levels significantly. So, consume Corn Ale to prevent sanity reduction for 30 minutes. Once inside Manibus's spawn area, a bunch of hostile Deviants will also be on your tail. Deal with these enemies while hitting Manibus's "tentacles" in the sky. Destroy all three tentacles to complete the event.

Surge of Fish

  • Objective: Catch fish.
  • Location: Random
Strategy
Unlike other Public Crisis events in Once Human, "Surge of Fish" instances don't involve combat. Instead, the event's location makes it easier for players to catch as many fish as they can during a limited period. Some rare fish can be caught during this time, including the sought-after Electric Eel deviant.

Cargo Scramble

  • Objective: Deplete the Sproutlet Storage.
  • Location: Random
Strategy
First, search for the Cargo Scramble truck roaming around the map. Once found, chase and shoot it until it stops. Next, a bunch of Sproutlet nodes appear. Additionally, the Seed of Life deviant appears, which chooses a random player in the immediate vicinity. If chosen, you’ll automatically gain Sproutlets over a period. However, this particular event forces players to enter PvP mode. That means you must defend against other players if you’re the chosen host. Consequently, defeat the host to release the Seed of Life into the wild. The event ends when the Sproutlet Storage is depleted. Note: Exchange Sproutlets with Nisa at friendly encampments for valuable items, including Controllers and Stardust Sources.

Hale’s Moving House

  • Objective: Complete the puzzle in Hale’s house.
  • Location: South of Sunbury in Broken Delta, North of Furnace Lair in Chalk Peak, northeast of Avalanche Monolith in the Way of Winter scenario, or southwest of Greywater Camp in Iron River
Strategy
Enter the house and shoot the glowing hands in the middle of the living room. Doing so initiates a short cutscene, in which the house rises and begins to move. Next, find and defeat three possessed objects around the house. You can find these items using Spacetime (“Q” key by default for PC players). After defeating the three items, return to the living room and deal with the three hands that reappear. A chest appears after, and the house returns to its original lifeless position. Note: It’s possible to get the Disco Ball Deviant from completing the Hale’s Moving House Public Crisis event.

Mist Zone

  • Objective: Defeat the targets in the Mist Zone.
  • Location: Random
Strategy
Mist Zones in Once Human are Public Crisis events denoted by large, floating red balls. Travel to one of these locations and head to the center to begin the instance. Here, you must defeat all targets to complete the event. Each Mist Zone may have different enemies, but the objective is always the same. Defeat every opponent to complete the instance and reap the rewards, which can include the Mini Feaster Deviant.
