Copper Torches

Minecraft Copper Torch Screenshot
  • Recipe: 1 Stick, Coal, & Copper Nugget
Much like soul torches, copper torches are crafted using the standard torch recipe of sticks and coal, but with one added ingredient, which in this case is a copper nugget. Copper torches are mechanically the same as regular torches, but with a green flame rather than the standard yellow and red. Copper torches do not oxidize.

Copper Lanterns

Minecraft Copper Lantern Screenshot
  • Recipe: 1 Copper Torch & 8 Copper Nuggets
Copper lanterns follow the standard lantern recipe but use a copper torch and copper nuggets instead. Once crafted, the copper lantern has an orange copper texture with a green glow within and will oxidize over time if not waxed with honeycomb. However, unlike copper bulbs, oxidation does not affect the light level produced.

Copper Bars & Chains

Minecraft Copper Chain Screenshot
  • Copper Bars Recipe: 6 Copper Ingots
  • Chain Recipe: 2 Copper Nuggets & 1 Copper Ingot
Following the same standard recipe of their iron counterparts, copper bars are crafted using six copper ingots, and copper chains are crafted using two copper nuggets and one copper ingot. Once crafted, they are functionally identical to their iron counterparts but with the added feature of oxidation over time if not waxed with honeycomb.
