The Hytale Preorder Period: Dates & Details

Hytale preorders began December 13, 2025, and are available until the game’s early access release on January 13, 2026. During this time, accounts can be created, Hytale can be preordered, and names can be reserved. The developers have confirmed there are no preorder cosmetics or rewards since they do not want to pressure players into feeling like they need to purchase early.

How to Register an Account

The first step to pre-purchasing Hytale is registering an account on the official website. Below, we have detailed the steps required to complete the sign-up process as quickly as possible.

1. Open the Hytale official website found here.
2. Click “Register”.
   1. On PC, “Register” is on the top-right of the webpage.
   2. On Mobile, “Register” is in the drop-down menu on the top-left of the webpage.
3. Select a registration method (Discord, Google, Email, Etc.).
4. Enter the requested information.
5. Confirm the account by clicking on the link sent to the registered email address.

With an account created, it is now possible to proceed with your Hytale preorder. The accepted payment methods as of writing include credit cards, Google Pay, PayPal, PaysafeCard, and many more. We recommend having one ready before proceeding.

2. Log in to your Hytale account if not already logged in.
3. Click “PRE-PURCHASE”.
   1. On PC, “PRE-PURCHASE” is on the top-right of the webpage.
   2. On Mobile, “PRE-PURCHASE” is in the drop-down menu on the top-left of the webpage.
4. Select your desired Hytale edition. Upgrading to higher tiers later is possible.
5. Select your preferred payment method.
6. Fill out the requested details and agree to the Terms of Service.
7. Complete the order.

Congratulations on preordering Hytale! Be sure to save your order ID just in case before proceeding to name reservation. Even if a name was reserved previously, it is not officially applied until the steps in the following section are complete.

Hytale Name Reservation

After purchasing Hytale, heading over to “Game Profiles” under “Account” will show your recent purchase with a random name applied. This is, thankfully, only temporary and can be changed to a new name or one reserved previously.

4. Click “Game Profiles”.
5. Click “CHANGE USERNAME”.
6. Enter a new name or select one that was previously reserved.
7. Confirm the change.

With that, your Hytale preorder, registration, and name reservation are complete, and everything is ready for January 13, 2026, when Hytale Early Access is released.
