How to Download A World That Doesn’t Exist
Posted on by
Downloading something that doesn’t exist can be quite the hassle, but if the right link is followed and you avoid turning left, there may just be a place where it can all be found. Today, we explain step by step how to download a world that doesn’t exist.
Discovered on a laptop left behind by someone else, Wifies explores a world that is as normal as can be until suddenly, it isn’t. Footsteps echo behind, hidden messages left by the previous owner are made apparent, and eventually a crossroads is encountered with the simplest of instructions: “At the crossroads, don’t turn left.” As Wifies dives deeper and deeper into this world, the more unsettling it all becomes.
When “A World That Doesn’t Exist” initially went live, the world and its builds were unavailable for download through official means. However, with the release of “Destroying A World That Doesn’t Exist”, part two of the video series, Wifies made them available …for a cost. Thankfully, that cost isn’t anything ominous but rather regular currency. The builds from “A World That Doesn’t Exist” and “Destroying A World That Doesn’t Exist” can be officially purchased for a total of $4.99 USD through “Horace Creations” found here.
Sadly, no official free versions of the “A World That Doesn’t Exist” maps are available. Partial fan renditions of iconic locations have been recreated and shared online, but none offer the complete package. Any who have purchased the product can share the files should they choose to do so, but we would not recommend accepting downloads from anyone you do not know or trust. Purchasing the maps is the safest option that also supports Wifies and the talented team behind them.
