Dune: Awakening Bene Gesserit Trainer Quests

The Bene Gesserit Trainer Quests in Dune: Awakening consist of one basic contract and five advanced objectives. Completing the basic contract unlocks the first tier of the Bene Gesserit skill tree, along with other rewards. On the other hand, completing the five advanced contracts grants access to additional abilities, albeit some belong to other skill trees.

Basic Bene Gesserit Trainer Location & Quest

Image Source: Pixelcave on YouTube. Find Sister Mesa, the basic Bene Gesserit trainer, in the Helius Gate at the Eastern Shield Wall. Interact with her to begin “The Missing Pieces” contract. Once initiated, follow these steps to complete the quest:

• Travel to The O’odham and into Stonestep Village.
• Head to the northeastern border and climb the rock formations to reach a flight of stairs leading to an open doorway.
• Enter the cavernous location and take the stairs to the right.
• Continue further to reach an arch.
• Climb the arch to find and open the chest containing the Lisan al-Gaib and Alam al-Mithal texts.
• Travel to the Imperial Testing Station No. 71.
• Continue west to find a ruin, and enter it.
• Once inside, walk upward until you reach a gap.
• Reach the other side of the gap using your preferred method (e.g., Shigawire Claw or Suspensor Belt)
• Continue further northwest until you see a chest on a ledge.
• Open the chest to find The Mahdi’s Blade.
• Return to Sister Mesa at Helius Gate.
• Give the items to the NPC to complete the contract.

• Unlocks the Bene Gesserit Skill Tree

• 7,000 Solari

Advanced Bene Gesserit Trainer Location & Quests

Start unlocking more skills in the Bene Gesserit ability tree by finding the Advanced Trainer, Jocasta Cleo. Do so by traveling to Harko Village using your Ornithopter. Next, head left from the landing bay to reach Baron’s Eye. Continue further until you see a flight of stairs heading to an alleyway. At the end of that path is Jocasta. Note that Jocasta’s Bene Gesserit questline consists of five parts. These contracts are the following:

Advanced Bene Gesserit Quest #1: Sacred Records

• Travel to Mirzabah at Suk Alusus and enter from the north entrance.
• Progress through the area until you find a room containing a Purple ID band.
• Use the Purple ID band to unlock and go through the door on your left.
• Inside this room, look up and to your right to spot a small gap in the roof.
• Climb through the gap to enter the hidden Fremen chamber containing the Sacred Records and a rare chest.
• Travel to Stone Sentinel near the Pinnacle Tradepost in the Eastern Shield Wall.
• Approach the marked location on your map to update your objective.
• Climb the structure or use an ornithopter to reach a higher starting point.
• Climb to the top of the formation to locate and collect the chests and the List of Naibs.
• Return to Harko Village and find Jocasta to turn in the completed quest.

• 8,500 Solari

Advanced Bene Gesserit Quest #2: The Missionaria Protectiva

• Travel to Stonestep Village in O'odham.
• Inside the village, go to the top floor to find an altar containing the fragment.
• Scan the fragment to reveal the next objective.
• Equip your Handheld Resource Scanner and use it on the altar where you found the Panoplia Propheticus Fragment.
• Travel to the House of Ilm, which is located near Stonestep Village.
• Climb one of the nearby plateaus to reach the entrance to the village.
• At the entrance of the House of Ilm, look for a statue of a Sandworm.
• Find the quest item, "On Witches," directly behind this statue.
• Submit the item to Jocasta to complete this contract.

Advanced Bene Gesserit Quest #3: The Impact of Ecology

• Return to the Imperial Testing Station No. 71
• Enter the station and proceed to a circular room with blue and purple pentashields.
• Take the hallway directly to the left of the entrance stairs.
• Defeat the enemies in this area and locate the Blue ID Band.
• Return to the circular room and use the Blue ID Band to pass through the blue pentashield.
• Defeat the next group of enemies and search for the Purple ID Band.
• Use the Purple ID Band to pass through the purple pentashield that leads into a large circular room.
• Eliminate all enemies in this final chamber.
• Locate and take the Lexicon of Ecology from a small cubby on the right side of the room.
• Travel to Harko Village only to find that Jocasta isn’t in her usual spot.
• Speak to the NPC near the donkey to learn that mercenaries are after her.
• Go to Hannivar's in Harko Village and interact with the Syndicate Mercenary in the corner of the room.
• Buy a Melange Spiced Beer from the bar and offer it to him.
• Speak to NPC again and ask about Jocasta to learn the ambush location.
• Travel to the specified spot in the O'odham and be prepared for a fight, as enemies will be waiting.
• Defeat all hostiles in the area.
• Once the area is clear, follow your quest marker further south.
• Defeat one more wave of enemies at this new location.
• Search for Jocasta hiding among some cacti by the rock formation walls.
• Speak with Jocasta, then return to Harko Village to deliver the Lexicon of Ecology and complete the contract.

Advanced Bene Gesserit Quest #4: Secrets of the Syndicate

• Travel to The Slant in Jabal Eifrit Al-janub east of Imperial Testing Station No. 76.
• Here, clear the enemies and read the notebook inside the structure.
• Travel to the Eastern Shield Wall, south of Imperial Testing Station No. 17.
• Defeat the hostiles at the occupied base and find the intel in a box near the cave entrance.
• Head to Sheol and enter the Wreck of the Ourea (Aft).
• Clear the enemies guarding the entrance.
• Inside, find and read the notebook containing the flight logs.
• Travel to the western part of Mysa Tarill to find Khala Cavern
• Push deeper into Khala Cavern and defeat all of the Syndicate Underlords.
• Exit the cave and head up into the nearby rock formations to find the Syndicate Leader.
• Defeat the leader and his guards.
• Retrieve the intel from the leader’s body and return to Jocasta to complete the contract.

Advanced Bene Gesserit Quest #5: The Rogue Bene Gesserit

• Use the Compel skill 20 times. It can be used repeatedly against the same enemy.
• Use the Litany Against Fear skill 10 times.
• Travel to Harko Village and confront Lady Margot Fenring.
• Locate and speak with Margot Fenring in Harko Village.
• Report back to Jocasta and tell her what you discovered about Margot Fenring.
• Complete the dialogue with Jocasta to complete this contract and the entire Bene Gesserit questline.
