Breach
  • Maximum Level: IV
  • Source: Enchanting Table & Enchanted Books
  • Restrictions: Mutually Exclusive with Smite, Bane of Arthropods, & Density
Maces ignore 15% of a target’s armor, increasing by 15% with each level of the enchantment to a maximum of level 4.
Wind Burst
  • Maximum Level: III

Maces create a Wind Charge-like effect upon landing a successful strike, knocking enemies back and launching the player into the air. Strength of the Wind Charge-like effect increases with each level of the enchantment to a maximum of level 3. This enchantment does not negate fall damage.
Unbreaking
  • Maximum Level: III
  • Source: Enchanting Table & Enchanted Books
  • Restrictions: None
Unbreaking creates a chance that an item or tool’s durability will not decrease when used, averaging a 100% increase in lifespan per level of the enchantment. This enchantment has a maximum level of 3.
Fire Aspect
  • Maximum Level: II
  • Source: Enchanting Table & Enchanted Books
  • Restrictions: None
Fire Aspect enchanted weapons apply 4 seconds of burning, increasing to 8 seconds at level 2. Additionally, mobs that drop raw meat will drop the cooked variant instead.
Mending
  • Maximum Level: I
  • Source: Enchanted Books
  • Restrictions: None
Gathered Experience Orbs are automatically consumed to repair items enchanted with Mending. Mending enchanted items must be in the main hand, off hand, or an equipped armor slot for this effect to occur.

Best Mace Enchantments

  • Density V
  • Wind Burst III
  • Fire Aspect II
  • Unbreaking III
  • Mending I
Players seeking to craft the ultimate Mace will want to aim for the enchantments we have listed above. This is the maximum number of enchantments the Mace can hold and includes Density rather than Breach for a greater chance of one-hitting the Wither from the clouds above. The only enchantment players may want to consider avoiding is Wind Burst III, as a collection of Wind Charges in the off-hand gives more control over your airtime while also removing most of the fall damage. In either case, boots with Feather Falling IV are highly recommended while using the Mace.
