In the enchanting yet perilous world of Voyagers of Nera, survival hinges on the weapons you wield. From the humble Wooden Club to the mighty Amberite Spear, discover and use a powerful arsenal through your journey across the seas. Discover the ranks of these pieces of equipment as you read through this ranked tier list.

Ranked Tier List of the Best Weapons in Voyagers of Nera

Voyagers of Nera Weapons Currently, all weapons in Voyagers of Nera are craftable. That means you'll only grind to collect the necessary materials to craft the items. With that, here are the best weapons in Voyagers of Nera you’ll use from start to endgame:

11. Wooden Club

Voyagers of Nera Wooden Club
  • Level Unlocked: Level 2
  • Crafting Materials: 10x Wood
  • Workstation: Workbench
It’s dangerous to go alone after waking up in The Embrace. Take this: the Wooden Club. Although lacking in offensive prowess, this weapon is a definite upgrade from using your fists to fight foes. Note that the Wooden Club has the same attack animation and speed as other in-game swords. That means it's faster than spears, allowing new players to defeat hostile spirits and rescue good ones in this beginner-friendly archipelago.

10. Stone Spear

Voyagers of Nera Stone Spear
  • Level Unlocked: Level 3
  • Crafting Materials: 8x Stone, 5x Wood, and 3x Twine
  • Workstation: Workbench
Touted as one of the best beginner weapons in Voyagers of Nera, the Stone Spear can help players pierce opponents on land and sea. That way, you have a fighting chance against aggressive, corrupted fish-type enemies while exploring the game's underwater regions. Still, it's important to mention that the Stone Spear and other higher-tier variants have a slower attack speed than the Wood Club and swords. So, pay attention to where you're facing when pressing the attack button with the Stone Spear equipped. Otherwise, a whiff is imminent, exposing you to enemy attacks.

9. Shorewood Bow

Voyagers of Nera Shorewood Bow
  • Level Unlocked: Level 4
  • Crafting Materials: 10x Wood and 5x Twine
  • Workstation: Workbench
Those who prefer attacking from afar might favor the Shorewood Bow over the Stone Spear or Wooden Club when striking down enemies. This long-range weapon can help increase the gap between you and foes, reducing the risks of unnecessary health loss. Still, the Shorewood Bow and other long-range weapons in Voyagers of Nera require arrows as ammunition. So, ensure that a sufficient number of arrows are always in your backpack. After all, you don't want to be caught running out of precious ammo in a sweaty fight.

8. Sharpstone Spear

Voyagers of Nera Sharpstone Spear
  • Level Unlocked: Level 7
  • Crafting Materials: 12x Sharpstone, 8x Wood, and 3x Twine
  • Workstation: Workbench
As you complete quests in The Embrace, you're bound to face tougher foes, especially in the eastern islands. So, ready yourself to face these foes in land and sea with the Sharpstone Spear. This spear is an upgrade of the Stone Spear, boasting superior poking prowess as you enter midgame. However, it shares the same drawbacks as other spears, including its slower-than-normal attack speed.

7. Sharpstone Blade

Voyagers of Nera Sharpstone Blade
  • Level Unlocked: Level 8
  • Crafting Materials: 12x Sharpstone and 10x Wood
  • Workstation: Workbench
Although the Sharpstone Blade resembles the Wooden Club, its attack power makes its difference clear from its predecessor. Using materials gathered from the eastern islands, this bladed weapon can make quick work of many enemies in The Embrace. The Sharpstone Blade can also help carry the wielder as they enter the midgame archipelago. But like other swords and sword-like weapons in Voyagers of Nera, this weapon is unusable while swimming. So, ensure that a spear is in your inventory while scouring underwater regions.

6. Coralwood Bow

Voyagers of Nera Coralwood Bow
  • Level Unlocked: Level 11
  • Crafting Materials: 20x Shaped Coralwood, 10x Twine, and 2x Plant Wax
  • Workstation: Workbench
After completing quests and other objectives in The Embrace, it’s time to move to the next archipelago: The Reef. Here, players face new threats, including tougher enemies, which can hurt some players transitioning to this new region. So, keeping your distance for now with the help of the Coralwood Bow can be ideal. Although this bow helps keep you safe from many enemy attacks, its combat capabilities are inferior to those of its melee cousins. Additionally, players must fulfill the constant requirement of arrows, which can increase the intensity of the in-game grind.

5. Tidemetal Trident

Voyagers of Nera Tidemetal Trident
  • Level Unlocked: Level 14
  • Crafting Materials: 8x Tidemetal Ingot, 8x Shaped Coralwood, 1x Mana Powder, and 2x Rough Leather
  • Workstation: Smithing Station
The Tidemetal Trident is a great midgame-level weapon for battling foes above and underwater. Apart from its apparent damage upgrade from the Sharpstone Spear and its other predecessors, this weapon can hit opponents critically. Note that critical hits appear as large, yellow numbers instead of the normal white digits. The Tidemetal Trident is one of the ideal weapons that can deal massive damage. Still, you must rely on RNG for this critical strike to appear.

4. Tidemetal Blade

Voyagers of Nera Tidemetal Blade
  • Level Unlocked: Level 15
  • Crafting Materials: 6x Tidemetal Ingot and 8x Shaped Coralwood
  • Workstation: Smithing Station
Like the Tidemetal Trident, the damage numbers produced by the Tidemetal Blade can critically hit. Although its damage output slightly falls short of the Tidemetal Trident, this sword can attack faster than its spear sibling. Additionally, the base attack power of the Tidemetal Blade can help carry players from The Reef to the Greatwood, the last archipelago of Voyagers of Nera Early Access.

3. Elderwood Bow

Voyagers of Nera Elderwood Bow
  • Level Unlocked: Level 19
  • Crafting Materials: 20x Shaped Elderwood, 4x Braided Silk, 1x Mana Powder, and 2x Improved Leather
  • Workstation: Workbench
Reach Level 19 upon landing on The Greatwood, and you can gain access to endgame weapons in Voyagers of Nera. One notable example is the Elderwood Bow, the last and most powerful of the long-range weapons in Voyagers of Nera. Despite being the best bow in the game, the Elderwood Bow’s damage output still falls short of endgame melee weapons. Nonetheless, the distance created by this weapon can help provide some safety when attacking enemies. Tip: Other players using melee weapons in the same Voyagers of Nera server can aggro enemies while you hit these foes with the Elderwood Bow from afar.

2. Amberite Blade

Voyagers of Nera Amberite Blade
  • Level Unlocked: Level 22
  • Crafting Materials: 5x Amberite Ingot, 8x Shaped Elderwood, and 2x Improved Leather
  • Workstation: Smithing Station
Craft and wield the Amberite Blade, and make quick work of the enemies in The Greatwood. Like its predecessor, the Tidemetal Blade, this Amberite variant has the ability to critically hit opponents. Also, players access its materials when they arrive in The Greatwood. However, you must be at least Level 22 to unlock its crafting recipe.

1. Amberite Spear

Voyagers of Nera Amberite Spear
  • Level Unlocked: Level 21
  • Crafting Materials: 8x Amberite Ingot, 8x Shaped Coralwood, 1x Mana Powder, and 2x Improved Leather
  • Workstation: Smithing Station
Arguably, one of the best weapons, if not the best weapon, in Voyagers of Nera is the Amberite Spear. Note that it needs more resources to craft than the Amberite Blade, but with good reason: the ability to produce higher damage numbers. Additionally, the Amberite Spear can be used above and underwater. Doing so can help you deal with above-ground enemies, like the pesky spiders in The Greatwood islands, and the dangerous monsters of the deep sea.
