Satisfactory 1.2 has finally arrived, and with it comes some massive new additions as well as major feature reworks along the way! With that, let's get right to everything you need to know.

What's New in Satisfactory 1.2?

Satisfactory SPWN toilet The latest Satisfactory Update, which went live on June 2nd, is a big one. Before we dive into the full Satisfactory 1.2 patch notes, here are some of the highlights!

Game Modes

Satisfactory is introducing Game Modes, in Update 1.2, a way for players to adjust multipliers for costs and power consumption, world randomization for resource nodes and purity levels, world seeds, and more! Take full control of your Satisfactory experience like never before, and carry these adjustments right over into multiplayer!

Vehicle Pathing Rework

Vehicles can at times be a hastle to manage in Satisfactory, and that's why the 1.2 patch brings a complete rework with an entirely new system! This includes being able to place vehicle paths using the build gun from the Transport tab, then placing the vehicles right on them. This also brings more ways to customize your paths and a new UI to help your efforts. Manual driving has also been improved, which means much easier and more enjoyable world exploration.

Controller Improvements

Satisfactory controller support was first introduced in 1.0, and while there have been improvements along the way, 1.2 includes some sought-after features for controller players, such as the ability to rebind your buttons!

New Buildable: SPWN

Now for the real meat and potatoes of the update...or whatever else you've eaten on your journeys. Satisfactory 1.2 introduces a new buildable called SPWN as part of the Alien Technology MAM Research tree. To put it simply, it's a portable alien space toilet. You read that right.

Fluid Station and Truck

For players looking to store and transport fluids over longer distances, this update also includes a new Fluid Station and a Fluid Truck, each with a 3200 m³ internal storage capacity.
