The fields of Rust may soon be covered with festive Easter cheer with the return of its annual event. Players can expect the usual limited-time mini events, such as the Easter Egg hunt. Then, open the gathered eggs for a chance to get event-exclusive rewards, like the Bunny Onesie. So, keep your ears to the ground, and keep reading to learn more about the Rust 2026 Easter Event.

Rust 2026 Easter Event Possible Release Date

Rust Easter Event 2026 The annual Rust Easter Event should return after the April 2 server wipe. Although information about the release of this event is currently scarce, it’s safe to deduce that it’ll go live on this date. After all, the Rust Console Edition had its limited-time Easter Event implemented after its recent update. If so, it should run for 3 weeks, ending on April 23.

What’s in the Rust 2026 Easter Event

This year’s Easter Event for Rust should have similar, if not the same, features and mechanics as its Console Edition counterpart. For starters, the egg hunt appears once every 24 to 36 in-game hours. Once live, players have three minutes to gather as many Easter eggs as possible. Note that a ranking system will be active, and the top three players with the most Easter eggs collected will receive a special prize egg. Nonetheless, those who didn’t make the cut can exchange their eggs for a range of rewards. The event-exclusive items to exchange for Easter eggs are the following:
  • Bunny Ears: Wear it during the Rust Easter Egg hunt to spot more eggs than normal.
  • Bunny Onesie: Improves Egg Vision, making it easier than normal to find more eggs.
  • Painted Basket: Used to collect eggs during the Easter Egg hunt.
  • Bronze Egg: Open to receive low-tier rewards, or collect 10x Bronze Egg to upgrade them into 1x Silver Egg.
  • Silver Egg: Open to receive mid-tier rewards, or collect 10x Silver Egg to upgrade them into 1x Gold Egg.
  • Gold Egg: Open to receive top-tier Rust Easter Event rewards.
