Rust Bandit Camp: An Overview

There was a time when the Bandit Camp was a separate monument in Rust. However, many Rust community servers, especially modded ones, merged the Bandit Camp with the Outpost, providing easy access to various vendors, mission givers, and workstations. Note: The Bandit Camp typically doesn’t have a Refinery, unless the server administrator added it to the monument. Perhaps the primary difference between the Bandit Camp and the Outpost is its casino. Here, you can gamble your spare Scrap and perhaps win big! However, the stakes are high, and the chances of winning are low. Can you beat the house and come out of the gambling establishment with full pockets, or are you going to bet it all and end up with nothing?

Like its real-life counterpart, the roulette in the Rust Bandit Camp has the odds stacked against the player. Oftentimes, the house wins, taking your hard-earned Scrap and leaving you with empty pockets. However, a Reddit user named AusTF-Dino created a program to see if the winning bets are always randomly selected. It turns out that the roulette favors the numbers 1, 3, and 5 more than other digits. Still, the chances of winning by betting on these numbers are fairly low. So, it’s still ideal to farm for Scrap through other means as opposed to solely relying on RNG. Having said that, gambling at the Bandit Camp casino occasionally, and with friends in the Rust server, can still be a recipe for a fun time.
