The first Minecraft Live of 2026 has sadly reached its end, but not without telling us about the exciting year of Minecraft that is about to begin! So, today, we explore all the highlights in our Minecraft Live 2026 recap, alongside the previously undisclosed secret content.

Minecraft Live 2026 Recap

Minecraft Experience

Minecraft Live 2026 Recap: Minecraft Experience Moonlight Trail Concept Art Screenshot The first announcement of the show was a confirmation that Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue will be traveling to even more cities around the globe, including Herning, Singapore, Mexico City, and Chicago. Further yet, a brand-new Minecraft Experience titled “Moonlight Trail” will soon debut in Buenos Aires. There fans will need to rebuild a beacon within a forest at night to complete the venture.

Minecraft World Theme Park

Minecraft World Logo Over in the United Kingdom, “Minecraft World” was announced as an upcoming expansion for the renowned Chessington World of Adventure theme park. This still in construction blocky world has been painstakingly designed for maximum immersion, with everything from smells to flavors taken into account. As for rides, a Minecraft roller coaster was the only one to be confirmed so far. Minecraft World is set to open in 2027.

Tiny Takeover Release Date

Minecraft Chicken And Chick Screenshot The Minecraft Tiny Takeover game drop received its official release date of March 24, which is quite literally this week! In just a few days, the new baby mobs will all be available for play alongside the golden dandelion, which prevents them from aging in any way.

As for what’s coming next, the Minecraft Chaos Cubed game drop was announced! This game drop contains both a new biome and mob, which we dive into down below.
Sulfur Caves Biome
Minecraft Sulfur Caves Biome Screenshot This biome of red and yellow blocks generates underground, creating blending tunnels and outcrops of warm colors with hot springs that emit toxic gas. Sulfur blocks (yellow) and cinnabar blocks (red) make up the bulk of the biome, and both come with complete block sets for building. The toxic gas, meanwhile, is a product of potent sulfur blocks found beneath the naturally generated water pools. Should a player enter this gas, it causes the nausea status effect.
Sulfur Cube
Minecraft Sulfur Cube Screenshot Exclusive to the Sulfur Caves biome, sulfur cubes are a brand-new passive mob that hops about, similar to its green and magma slime counterparts. However, what makes it unique is its ability to absorb any block players place within it. This puts the sulfur cube in an unmoving, damage-immune state, where players can hit them around like an extremely light and bouncy ball. Additionally, the type of block placed inside affects the properties of the slime, with blocks like ice making it slide more and blocks like iron making it heavier. Both where the slime is hit, and the damage dealt, determine the direction and distance it will travel.

Minecraft Dungeons 2

Finally, Minecraft Dungeons 2 was announced as an upcoming standalone Minecraft title. It has been confirmed to once again be a four-player co-op RPG experience, with exact changes not yet disclosed. The game will likely take players through the ruined portal of ancient cities, based on the teaser trailer shown.
