Congratulations! You've bested every boss in Core Keeper. Each titanic-sized monstrosity has been put down, and you're stronger than you've ever been. However, there's one challenge left. In Core Keeper, the Core Commander is king. This final boss is the final obstacle between you and the end credits. Don't worry — we'll tell you how to tackle this monster down below.

How to Summon & Defeat the Core Commander in Core Keeper

Core Keeper Core Commander screenshot First things first: you've got to summon the Core Commander before you can destroy it. Luckily, if you've beaten all other bosses in the game, this is simple. You must interact with the enormous Crystal Meteorite in the Desert of Beginnings after collecting the six titan souls. These are the six bosses you must defeat specifically:
  • Azeos the Sky Titan
  • Omoroth the Sea Titan
  • Ra-Akar the Sand Titan
  • Druidra the Wild Titan
  • Crydra the Ice Titan
  • Pyrdra the Fire Titan
Make sure you're prepared before interacting with the Crystal Meteorite, because the fight with the Core Commander will begin immediately. You'll want to make sure you have powerful gear that caters to your specific playstyle. Grim, Hunter, and Pandorium armor are great endgame choices for summoners, ranged DPS, and melee DPS in that order. Of course, some buffs from powerful foods will help as well. Rainbow Kelp is one of the most useful basic foods thanks to the buffs it gives to health regeneration, armor score, and both melee and range attack speed. However, nothing is going to be more helpful for you in this battle than speed. Successfully weaving in and out of the Core Commander's attacks is crucial for success.

Core Commander Attacks

Core Keeper Core Commander Phase Two screenshot There are two different phases in the battle with the Core Commander. In both of them, three enormous Core Spheres will circle the boss. As you might have guessed, destroying these spheres will make the Core Commander vulnerable for a brief period of time. Keep in mind that the defeated Core Spheres aren't gone. They'll simply sit on the ground and pulse out electrical orbs. Once the window of opportunity has closed on attacking the Core Commander, the Core Spheres will regain their health and resume spinning. You'll have to repeat the process of bringing them down to continue attacking the Core Commander. During phase one, the Core Commander will unleash a variety of attacks. Luckily, none of them follow you around the map. However, they can cause a lot of damage. Most of them will, however, spawn in a circle around you and close inward. The key is to keep moving and looking for openings. Nothing too different from the other boss encounters in the game. When the fight enters phase two, a new and terrifying move will arrive. The Core Commander will shift the world around you to look like the void of space. When this happens, three normal, safe zones will spawn at random locations. Stand within these, and you can continue to damage both the Core Spheres and Core Commander. However, if you spend too long in the void, you'll receive a persistent debuff that drains 20% of your health per second. The key here is to stick to a safe zone and wait until the attack is over. The safe zones will shrink as the attack continues, but once it ends, you'll be free to move around as if it were phase one once again.
