For new characters, arguably the fastest method to farm Coarse Thread in RuneScape: Dragonwilds is to collect wild Flax. This plant grows throughout Bramblemead Valley, but it’s also possible to see it in the Fractured Plains and Stormtouched Highlands. It also regrows after roughly one in-game day, as long as the spawn points aren’t blocked by structures. Then, use the Flax in a Spinning Wheel to transform it into Coarse Thread. The better long-term strategy is to grow flax. Gathering wild Flax also has a chance of letting you collect Flax Seeds, which you can plant in Farming plots.
