Over twenty music discs exist across Minecraft! And, as of 26.4, they can all be enjoyed through a jukebox that automatically plays music discs within your home. What is a Minecraft Jukebox?

Added in Java Edition Alpha 1.0.14 and updated in 26.4 to the version known today, the jukebox plays any music disc inserted into it a single time before returning to a dormant state again at its end. During this, it also generates a redstone signal with the level of power determined by the music disc. A jukebox can be crafted on a crafting table using eight planks of any kind placed around a single diamond in the middle.

How to Create a Playlist

As of Minecraft 26.4, a Minecraft Jukebox can play music discs on repeat or entire playlists that play and start over automatically. To do this, place a single chest, trapped chest, or copper chest on top of a jukebox and then put music discs inside the chest. The jukebox will automatically play the music disc in the first available slot before putting it back and moving on to the next. Once every music disc has been played, including if there was only one, it then repeats the playlist, starting at the first available slot once again.
