Amethyst will be a new resource in Minecraft 1.17.
Amethyst will function as a natural light source after reaching the Cluster stage of its 3 part development cycle. Amethyst yields Amethyst Shards which will also be useful in constructing highly specialized items like the Spyglass.
Azalea will be a new tree coming to Minecraft, and its leaves, shrubs, and roots will all be important blocks in the game.
Azalea Roots will lead players to the new Dripstone Cave biome, and Azalea Shrubs will be a scenic new block with three variants based on colored blossoms.
Clay Pots will be a fantastic new source of artistic design in Minecraft 1.17.

Clay Pots will be decorable by ceramic shards once cooked, leaving awesome designs of some of Minecraft’s most influential characters and faces.
Copper will be a new resource in Minecraft 1.17.
Copper will have several unique properties, with the most notable being its susceptibility to oxidation – which means it will change if used to build outside and left in the weather. To stop this process, players will have to wax their copper with Honeycomb.
Copper will be a huge new building resource that adds some variety to construction and another layer of realism to the Minecraft world.
Dripleaf Plants add an engaging and dangerous element to the Minecraft world.
These plants are climbable, but if players make mistakes by standing too long on top of a Dripleaf Plant, players will fall through.
Moss is a new cosmetic block in Minecraft.
