Thanks to the Beans & Alpacas Expansion, Farming Simulator 25 players can now enjoy a taste of Brazil with the Brazil-inspired Catuaí map. From coffee plantations to a beautiful winding river, there’s plenty to build and explore. This guide introduces everything that makes Catuaí so unique, along with what you'll need to succeed here. It covers the Catuaí production chains, buildings, selling locations, and the community and construction projects on the map, so let's jump in!

Farming Simulator 25 Catuaí Map Overview

Farming Simulator 25 Catuaí Like the name of a popular variety of Coffee arabica, Catuaí in Farming Simulator 25 is a fictional South American region inspired by the Brazilian countryside. Its landscape features distinct elements, including rolling hills, red soil, and a winding river that connects farms with production facilities. Stilt houses along the riverbanks and wooden bridges crossing the water give the region a distinctive character. One of Catuaí's most recognizable features is its red earth, known regionally as terra roxa. The terrain provides a natural setting for coffee plantations, while dense vegetation and uneven roads also encourage players to plan their routes carefully when transporting heavy machinery and harvested crops. The map introduces a different seasonal rhythm from many other Farming Simulator 25 environments. Coffee can be planted starting in September and is ready for harvesting in May, while bananas can be cultivated year-round using specialized planting and harvesting systems. Players must therefore balance their schedules around different production requirements.

New Production Chains in Catuaí

Farming Simulator 25 offers plenty of ways for farmers to make money on their work, and Catuaí introduces several new production chains to match its unique offerings. These include:
  • Paint Production: This allows farmers to combine resin (from raw wood) and pigments (from a range of different combinations of materials like copper and iron ore, red beets, limes, spinach, and wood chips) to make Paint for sale.
  • Coffee Processing: This allows farmers to process their Coffee harvests - washing raw Coffee Cherries, sorting them into Coffee Bags, and then refining them into Packed Coffee or Coffee Capsules.
  • Banana Processing: This allows farmers to yield products like Banana milk (banana boxes and raw milk), which is mixed into Banana Cakes and Tiramisu, and/or shelf-stable products like Banana Chips and Banana Jam.
  • Textile and Furniture Production: This allows farmers to yield raw Alpaca Fleece, spin it into Alpaca Wool, then manufacture it into products like Alpaca Socks, Alpaca Pillows, and Alpaca Plushies, and/or combine the Alpaca Wool with wood to make furniture like Alpaca-lined Armchairs and Alpaca Stools.

Catuaí Production Buildings

Farming Simulator 25 Catuaí Production Points Farming Simulator 25 players can take in the sights of Catuaí as much as they want, but eventually, it's time to get to work, and Catuaí has plenty of ways to do so! This map offers various production buildings to complete industries around new and existing resources. These establishments range from a bakery that can process ingredients for bread and cakes to a tailor shop that can craft clothing and apparel. No matter which industry you specialize in for any given season on this map, you'll have plenty of ways to monetize your yields. See the full list of Catuaí production buildings below.

Catuaí Selling Points

Farming Simulator 25 Selling Points Despite being a fairly large map, Catuaí has only 13 selling points compared to the 26 in Kinlaig. Even so, these establishments allow you to sell your resources (harvested crops, manufactured goods, and other resources) for money. Notable examples include a Carpentry, Sugar Mill, Pigment Factory, and Sawmill. These locations accept different products at different prices, so be sure to check the prices menu pictured above to get the best deals. Use these areas to recoup your investment, then return to the fields to earn more!

Catuaí Community & Construction Projects

Farming Simulator 25 Catuaí Construction Project Like other Farming Simulator 25 maps, Catuaí offers construction projects that give players additional objectives beyond growing crops and expanding businesses. One notable project is the Research Center, which lies near the edge of the map, near farmland 66. Building the Research Center is a massive project that requires 28 stages to complete, but once complete, it offers players interesting informational displays about the region's crops, animals, and culture. Ultimately, it requires the following materials:
  • 29,000x Long Plank
  • 10,000x Plank
  • 34,000x Wooden Beam
  • 33,000x Straw
  • 7,000x Furniture
Another community project players can take on is the repainting project. Here, players produce paint and use it to repaint houses throughout the entire Catuaí map, brightening the community with the very same natural pigments it yields. This gives resources like Pigment and Resin additional uses beyond selling them for cash. Further, players can also track down the map's collectibles, a series of dinosaur bones that can be found throughout the map by working your fields, and eventually combined via the Museum. We're still hunting all of the dinosaur bone locations in Catuaí, so stay tuned as we update with a full guide on how to gather them all, complete the museum, and enjoy the mysterious, yet-to-be-revealed wearable cosmetic reward!
