Exploring in Minecraft is as magical as can be, and soon, exploring it in real life will be a possibility! Today, we dive into all the confirmed details available for the Minecraft World theme park, including the location, rides, and opening date.

Minecraft World Location: Chessington World of Adventure

Minecraft World will be a new subsection of the renowned Chessington World of Adventure theme park in Chessington, United Kingdom. This will be the third immersive world added to the park, following Jumanji and the upcoming World of Paw Patrol, alongside the park’s many other original rides and attractions. Chessington World of Adventure also offers a zoo and aquarium where many of Minecraft’s mobs are already available for visit and learning.

Minecraft World Opening Date

Minecraft World is set to open its blocky doors in 2027. However, a specific month has not yet been announced. As soon as further details are released, we will have them updated here! NOTE: Reservations can already be made for 2027 on the official Chessington World of Adventure website, but we recommend waiting for dates to be revealed.

Rides & Attractions

Minecraft World will be set within a block-built overworld environment painstakingly designed for immersion. While exploring, guests will encounter themed dining and retail such as lava chicken, interactive adventures, and themed rides. A roller coaster was confirmed to be one of the rides during Minecraft Live, March 2026. While only speculation, interactive adventures may hint at an exclusive Minecraft Experience or Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue finding a permanent home at the park.

Cost of Admission

As of March 2026, a one-day ticket to Chessington World of Adventure ranges from £34 to £66, or an estimated $45.30 to $87.93. Sadly, there are no guarantees these prices will remain the same, especially when it comes to the Minecraft World grand opening.
